My 20lb. pair arrived today as scheduled. Packaging was very sturdy and double boxed with foam and bubble wrap inside. The chrome plating and rubber do have no issues and look great! The rubber was oily like many describe, but some hot water, Dawn dish soap and an old tooth brush cleaned them up perfectly. I do smell what many people complain about in the rubber but it smells like new tires to me, and if I’m being honest with you, I’ve always liked that smell, so not an issue for me, and certainly not over powering. All in all I’m very pleased with my purchase. I think the price is a little high, but still less expensive that iron plates, and they’re exactly as described and what I wanted. I am however a little disappointed that 20lbs seems like it’s so much heavier than it was 40 years ago!!🤣 ... show more

Just a really good dumbbell, the rubber coating is great. Hope they dont peel? ( haven't had to long) but jus tape up the handles & your ready to go Think I paid 60 bucks for the pair, so they not cheap. But they seem to be well made? So I would say if u purchase you will not be disappointed

Really high quality dumbbells. The rubber heads mean that floors don't get damaged even if they are dropped. This isn't really an advantage or disadvantage, but the handles are a lot thinner than similar 35 or 50lb dumbbells. Overall, I'd recommend these!

We ordered these for my step son, he said they're good. However, they came extremely greasy and even stained our rug up a tad. My husband did his best to wipe them down to cut the grease down, helped some but not all the way. I'm not sure if they're suppsed to come this way, if so no biggie. But definitely just want to let others know to unpack them and set them on something other than your rug/carpet at first. ... show more
