OK, I’m not Martha Stewart but these supposedly “faux” linen blinds have an elegant look and even feel like the real thing. Thanks to the no drill installation, even a klutz like me, was able to install the two shades I purchased in less time than it me to unpack them from the boxes they were delivered in. I placed them in my bedroom where both windows face west causing the room to heat up on hot summer days. I have been amazed by how much cooler these shades make the room without darkening the light. I am highly satisfied with these shades and am happy I made the purchase.

Arrived quickly, very well packaged, fit perfectly, easy to install. It was harder to remove the old blinds and brackets than to install these. Great value - $15 less than competitors. Blocks the light - got the light filtering because I like soft light to come in during the day. Great quality - has a covering over the top and bottom crossbeams? - makes it seem more high-end. Lovely.

My son has been asking me to change the blinds on his window for quite some time now. They are traditional blinds and my son complains about how they let too much light in. He is a sensitive sleeper, so he wants blinds that do a better job blocking out the light. When I researched it, I found out that honeycomb blinds are much more effective at blocking out light than traditional blinds, so I decided to try these out in his room. When the blind arrived, one of my main concerns was whether the width was going to fit his window. My son's room has a large window and the inside of the frame measures a little over 46 inches wide. I ordered the 46-inch version, so before it arrived, I wasn't sure if it was going to be slightly too small. Thankfully, the top bar is designed so you can turn the ends and gradually expand it outwards after you place it within the frame. So, they really were extremely easy to install. After I pushed in the end caps and placed it inside the window frame, I used the hex key to keep turning the end hole until it pressed firmly against both sides. And since the top bar is metal and not plastic like you get with some blinds, I was able to fully tighten it as hard as I could. And once I tightened it, the blind felt very secure and comfortably locked into place. And that’s really how easy they were to install. You don’t have to worry about using any adhesive strips or drilling any screws into the frame. Plus, the top bar is covered in the same fabric as the shades. The blind also raises and lowers very smoothly and is really easy to operate. There are no strings that you have to use. You just lower or raise it with the bottom bar and it stays at the height where you stop and leave it. Most importantly, my son is very happy because his room is a lot darker now in the morning. They don't eliminate every bit of light coming through the window, but they do a much better job than traditional blinds. And that’s because with the honeycomb design, it is one solid piece and double layered. And the ivory color looks great in his room and blends in really nice with the white walls. These are really good quality blinds. The top frame is metal and the locking mechanism worked great. They were super easy to install and created a strong grip against the inside of the frame. And my son is very happy with the change and the amount of light it blocks. And the fabric feels like quality material and doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. I definitely recommend them and think they are a great value.

The no drilling is a great feature. They have a stiffening screw and they make these really stay on well, and doesnt budge. The light filtering is very apparent, if you are looking for black out these arent worse than the home depot ones you can buy off the counter. This isnt a bad thing, but it has its disadvantages at times. The measurements really do need to be about 1/2" variance. The little spring and rubber they give you is about another 1/2" incase you measured incorrectly. The quality is very good, and the mechanisms are very smooth. They go up and down very nicely and is very good once they are on. Just remember to tighten the spring once is it on.

My man was always complaining about not having enough privacy in our bedroom when changing due to the cats always moving those swinging apartment blinds in order to look out the window. Our apartment sits within a small courtyard and there’s also only one small bedroom window, making it quite dark in there.. so I needed a solution for privacy that didn’t sacrifice light - and preferably renter friendly — enter these shades! They fit my small rental window perfectly - just follow the size guide to find your proper fit, if I’m not mistaken I’m pretty sure mine measured out to just under 34.5 so I went with the 34 as suggested.. do not go larger than your space or the shade will not fit within the opening. The shades themselves are well made and durable, i was a little afraid of them looking like hospital or RV blinds but they don’t give off that vibe at all. I love that they offer full privacy but still let the light in, even when closed and I can leave a little sliver at the bottom open for the cats to look out if I want. They are super easy to install, and uses only tension to stay in place so I’ll definitely be taking these with me when moving.

In rental properties you constantly are looking for ways around having to paint or drill into the walls so these no drill light filtering blinds were exactly what we needed. They also allow the perfect amount of light in while still keeping the heat out, and saving on the power bill. These HESTIA no drill light filtering cellular shades are exactly what they say, no drill. They install in seconds and are instant plug and play. You simply put them in the gap of your window and crank the tentioner to tighten the strong holding silicone lock, it's that simple. I recommend these even if you can drill into your walls for the sheer fact of how much of a dream and easy it is to instal them. I have 36inch windows, bought the 35.5inch shades and the fit is perfect. These honeycomb cellular shades have a sturdy aluminum rail that the honeycomb curtain hangs on. The 1.5 inch honeycomb cell shade pulls down with ease and retracts easily as well. We specifically got the cordless for the little ones. We love the ivory color which matches well with our wall colors. These shade are priced very well and after install you may start switching all your window shades out with these.

I’ve purchased my share of cellular shades over the years and I have to say that the build quailty, look and design of these cellular shades may be the best I have seen and used. The no-drill, no bracket design is sheer genius, just be sure to read the ordering instructions before you actually place your order so that you get the correct size shade. My window width is 35” so I ordered the 34.5” width thinking that it would be fine. Due to the way these shades are designed you want to order the exact size of the width of your window which will provide you with the perfect fit. There is a spring loaded bracket on the left side that compresses when you hang the shade. The other side has a silicone pad on it as does the left side with the spring loaded bracket. This keeps the shade in place without the need for screws and brackets. After you install the shade there is a small set screw that you tighten to keep the spring loaded bracket from contracting to keep the shade in place. The quality of the actual shade is very nice and has an elegant look to it, very classy! The shade is raised and lowered by simply holding the handle at the bottom to raise or lower the shade to the desired height. No cords, ropes, strings which is perfect for those with pets and/or kids.

I love these cellular shades. They are made with a soft ivory color and feel really thick and high quality. The best part is the installation. There is no drilling, no taping, and no adhesive needed. I just used the tension system to press the shade onto the sides of my window frame, and it hung perfectly in seconds. The shade is 46 inches wide and 64 inches long, which fits my window great. The top bar and bottom handle are both wrapped in a soft faux linen fabric that looks beautiful and hides the plain metal underneath. The honeycomb structure inside is made of 100 percent polyester, which helps keep heat in during winter and keeps it cool in summer. The shade is easy to use - I just pull it down or push it up to any height I want, and it stays put. I love that it lets in soft light so my room doesn't feel dark, but it also gives me privacy and keeps my room at a comfortable temperature. It is the perfect balance of light, privacy, and comfort.
