Upgraded the front speakers in my Elantra from Rockford Fosgate Prime's to these. The Hertz speakers are better for highs, but the rockford fosgate's had better lows. I have a 12" sub so the lows arent an issue so I'm happy these added better midrange and highs. Overall happy with them for $65, solid upgrade in my opinion for stock speakers. ... show more

My husband bought these to upgrade his 2015 Road Glide speakers. These are so loud and clear! Highly recommend these speakers to anyone who wants to jam to some music while you’re riding.

Have a 2016 Mazda CX5. The front panel speaker blew and so was looking to replace them. Did a ton of research and then stumbled on a reddit article that recommended these speakers. Much cheaper than most and sound amazing. Super easy to install, just popped right in. Note that even if you go with Crutchfield, you will still need to deal with the connector. I simply soldered the wire and popped them in. Highly recommend! ... show more

Speakers yield strong midrange sound, as others have said. My review is that they are indeed quite loud and clear speakers -- which is just what a bike or boat needs. If installing in a car that already has a decent system, though, then these will take over everything and it's difficult to 'blend' them in. That said, this is a $65 speaker so if you don't want to spend too much...it's a very decent option. They did provide improvement but takes a huge amount of tweaking using equalizer. I wonder is other Hertz 6.5 models would provide a more 'suave' sound. ... show more

I have bought two sets of these to put in Harley Davidsons and they just work plenty of sound and clarity for the highway there a great choice until you start throwing crazy money into it.
