This seems like a great product that anyone of all ages and genders can use, so why did they make it smell like something only 40+ women would be inclined to use? Just make it as neutral smelling as possible, so the much better smelling shampoos and colognes/perfumes can mask it. I found this product through a Buzzfeed article for those with frizzy hair and THIS PRODUCT DID NOT DISAPPOINT PEOPLE! I put this serum through the ringer; I got this to stand up to Bay Area fog AND the nasty, humid heat wave we got a couple weeks ago. No frizz, no extra curls. Nothing! On top of that, it made my hair super glossy. I'm very impressed. Heads up though, a little goes a long way. One pump is enough to cover my hair and I have medium length hair. Also, it can make your hair look oily if you use too much. I do have oily hair so working on my ends first then working to my roots works for me. ... show more

Can you tell which side of my hair has serum and which side does not? Yup, very noticeable. I've been using this hair serum for about 4 years now and I love it. My hair is naturally fizzy, but this hair serum keeps it under control looking shiny, silky and feeling softer than baby skin. It has a beautiful, yet soft smell to it. It makes me feel like the Little Mermaid underwater with her beautiful red hair flowing around except my hair flows around gracefully in the air (if that makes any sense lol) As you can see in my picture it's safe to use on bleached/dyed hair. My hair is thick and long so I divide my hair into 2 parts and use 3 small pumps of hair serum on each side (a little goes a LONG way!). Just be sure to not put too much or it'll turn out oily. I highly recommend it for any type of hair especially frizzy hair and if you straighten/curl it often. ... show more

This is probably the best hair product I've ever used! I have baby-fine, wavy hair that's prone to frizz at the slightest hint of humidity in the air. Most products are to heavy for my hair, making it limp and greasy. This product gives me just the right amount of 'sleek' without looking like I need a good hair washing! Combined with soft twist rollers, I can achieve anything from a very soft wave to lots of curls without using a curling iron or flat iron, which causes way too much damage to my type of hair when used regularly. I love this stuff! This is part of my hair routine every time I style my hair. I have thick, frizzy hair that tends to soak up styling products. With this product a little bit goes a long way, the first bottle lasted me 5 months. I was walking through the mall one day and a woman who worked at a kiosk approached me, and handed me a Herstyler Hair Serum sample. It wasn't until weeks later that I actually used it and when I tell you the results were not only unexpected but AMAZING! that same day I went to the mall and I showed the woman the sample packaging and told her that I NEED to buy whatever product it was IMMEDIATELY, she showed me what is was and told me it was a staggering $75.00, now normally I never buy anything for my hair (aside from weave) that is that much money but because of the the results and the wonderful fragrance I figured it was worth it Now fast forward, I'm going on vacation to Miami and I couldn't wait to bring the Herstyler products I've accumulated over the course of a few months, I arrive at the airport (the products are in my carry on) so I'm at the area where the airport people check my bag and tell me that I cannot bring the products on the plane... I LITERALLY cried and my boyfriend told me don't worry he will buy it again for me (not knowing one item was $75.00) anyways, I decided to just take a loss and re buy it when I had the money. SO MONTHS LATER I had the money to reinvest into this AMAZING PRODUCT and guess what??? The kiosk was gone!! I called my mom and cried again LITERALLY and she told me to check AMAZON, and low and behold I found it for about 85% cheaper than I initially paid and they delivered fast! My hair was always wavy but now in my "50's" my hair is very curly...Ladies. I read all the reviews on this serum and thought I'd give it a try. Without a doubt the best serum I have used (along with one other product for curly hair). My curls are soft, no frizz and I don't have to use three, or four products, which would leave my hair curly but not soft looking. Love the product, the bummer is it is in a glass bottle and using anything glass in the bathroom is always taking a chance you don't bang it on the hard surface of the sink or drop it when your hands are slippery. My first bottle hit a hard surface on day two and the bottle broke. I loved it enough that I immediately ordered another one and this time I put it back in the box so I don't break it again. Suggestion to Seller, use plastic as most people use hair products in the bathroom :) ... show more
