If you are thinking about buying this mascara, get it! I am so mad that I procrastinating buying this product. The results of this mascara are amazing, curled and natural, yet effortless and elegant. I’ve tried so many different brands and formulas of mascaras: L’Oreal telescopic, Refy mascara, Ilia mascara, and Milani mascara and none of them have given me results like this. I have really thick and straight lashes which is a challenge in itself, but when you add clumpy, thick mascaras like these, call it nearly impossible. Don’t get me wrong, all of these mascaras that I just listed have great results in the first five minutes, but then they start to make your eyelashes droop and look straight again. With this mascara, I find that the first 5 minutes of after I put it on and the last five minutes before I take it off, I still have beautiful volumed (is that a word?!) lashes. This mascara is super waterproof, like it’s marketed, which means two things. First, your lashes are still gonna be curled when you jump in the water and put your face in to go for a swim. Your lashes aren’t gonna look the exact same, but you definitely still have results. Second, it’s really hard to remove, so I recommend buying Heroine’s own mascara remover, because unfortunately the waterproof miscellar water doesn’t work. Love this and recommend to anyone I meet!

Here's a polished review you can use: I have tried countless mascaras over the years, but this one is by far the most amazing mascara for wimpy eyelashes! From the very first application, it made my lashes look longer, fuller, and beautifully lifted without clumping. What I love most is how well it keeps each lash separated, giving a natural yet dramatic look that lasts all day. Unlike other mascaras that leave lashes stuck together or weighed down, this formula provides incredible definition and lift while still feeling lightweight. My lashes stay curled, separated, and fresh-looking from morning to night. I would recommend this mascara over any other mascara I've ever used. If you have thin, short, or sparse lashes and want a product that truly makes a difference, this is the one to buy. I’ve never used Japanese mascara, but right away I noticed the pigment seems better than other brands. I used the black. It doesn’t clump at all. Overall this is good quality mascara. I dont have straight eyelashes but I still curled my lashes before applying this. I also added 1coat of my regular expensive mascara plus around 2-3 coats of this and im finally 100% satisfied. No caking, no lashes clumping together, lasts all day with maximum amount of length and curl without looking completely over done. This mascara helps achieve a nice, clean look.

This mascara has earned my full respect. I have very sensitive eyes and almost everything causes itching or irritation, but this formula is very gentle and didn't bother me at all. Performance: My eyelashes are naturally very straight, so my biggest challenge is finding a mascara that doesn't weigh them down after curling them. This one is amazing—it holds the curl perfectly all day. The curved brush design definitely helps with the application and lift, and best of all, it doesn't leave any clumps. Removal (The only downside): The only thing I didn't love is how difficult it is to remove. It is extremely waterproof. I tried oil, gel, and cream cleansers, but it wouldn't come off completely, and I hate going to sleep with makeup residue. I read that baby oil might work, so I will have to try that next. If you need a mascara that keeps your lashes curled and won't smudge or budge no matter what, this is it! Just be prepared to use a very strong makeup remover.

This mascara works really well, especially if you have straight lashes that need serious hold. It’s quite thick, but it delivers great volume and length, and it keeps lashes lifted all day without drooping. The downside is removal—it takes a while to come off, and you definitely need to be careful. Go slow and use a good remover so you don’t tug or risk breaking lashes. Overall, excellent performance and staying power, just not a quick or casual end-of-day removal.

I am extremely picky about mascara. I buy and test new mascaras constantly, and I've spent years looking for a waterproof formula that actually stays put while still making my lashes look long, separated, and curled. Most waterproof mascaras I've tried fall into one of two categories: they either smudge and flake throughout the day, or they stay put but leave my lashes looking clumpy and stiff. The closest I've come to liking a waterproof mascara before this was L'Oréal Telescopic Waterproof, but even that one would flake on me and often made my lashes look thin and spidery. This mascara is on an entirely different level. The photo I'm including is after putting this mascara through what I consider the ultimate stress test. During a camping and float trip, I wore it through 90+ degree weather, sweat, humidity, swimming, rain, showers, and hours in the water. What makes this even more impressive is that the photo was taken on DAY THREE. By that point, I had been wearing this mascara for three days and had put it through conditions that would have destroyed every other waterproof mascara I've tried. I fully expected to need to reapply it after swimming and showering, but when I looked in the mirror, my lashes still looked lifted, defined, and curled. There wasn't a single black smudge under my eyes and I never experienced any flaking. Not once. I genuinely could not believe how well it held up. If someone had told me beforehand that a mascara could survive three days of camping, swimming, rain, humidity, sweat, and multiple showers while still looking this good, I wouldn't have believed them. What impressed me most is that it doesn't just stay on—it actually looks beautiful. One coat gave me length, separation, curl, and definition without making my lashes stick together. My lashes looked like lashes instead of five thick spikes glued together. I was also pleasantly surprised by removal. With performance like this, I expected it to be a nightmare to take off. When I got home, I used a Neutrogena Hydro Boost cleansing wipe and simply held it against my lashes for a few seconds before gently wiping. It came off much easier than I expected and didn't require aggressive rubbing. Pros: ✔ Truly waterproof ✔ Survived three days of camping, swimming, rain, sweat, humidity, and showers ✔ No smudging ✔ No flaking ✔ Great length and curl ✔ Doesn't make lashes look clumpy ✔ Easier to remove than expected This has officially replaced every waterproof mascara in my collection. I've tested dozens of mascaras over the years, and this is the first waterproof mascara that made me stop checking the mirror to see if it had migrated under my eyes. If you've spent years searching for a mascara that actually stays put while still making your lashes look good, this is the one.

Its literally the best. I swim and play in the pool for hours and it doesnt come off a bit!! None of my other waterproff mascars do this its insanee. Other then that it keeps a curl outside of the pool all day long and doesnt clump. It makes my lashes. Look so long too. I would recommend bringing a curler to the pool tho cus the curl falls in the pool after a while. This is a great mascarar for the summer and worth the moneyyy

I've used a lot of other Japanese skin care products, but this is my first time trying a makeup item. I was looking for a mascara that would stay put all day and not end up smudged, while still enhancing my lashes. I saw this recommended on reddit so I was excited to try it. First the pros; This has to be one of the most water/smudge/flake proof mascaras that I have ever tried. Once it's on, it's not going anywhere. Honestly most mascaras end up smudged on me by the end of the day. But this one does not. It's a good value, so there was little risk in giving it a try. Now the cons; *While it's great that it does not smudge and is waterproof, I found it to be extremely difficult to remove. I double cleansed, first using a cleansing balm makeup remover, followed by my usual gentle cleanser and it took me about 2 minutes of rubbing with the makeup remover to get this mascara completely off. By that point my eyes are feeling really goopy and a little irritated/runny and continue feeling this way into the next day. I also tried using an oil based makeup remover, but that one barely worked at all. *While this mascara does make my lashes look darker and a little more pronounced, for me, it does not do a great job lengthening or making my lashes look more full - at least not compared to the other drugstore brand I usually use. When I apply multiple layers, it gets kind of clumpy and thick looking. For this reason and because of the difficulty removing it, I wouldn't apply more than one good coat. I'll keep it around for times when I want to wear mascara but am worried about it smudging, such as when I'm being active in hot weather or swimming, but I won't buy again.
