These dishes are beautiful. They hold up well and look good. I haven't seen any chips. They delivered very well protected, so no cracks. Decently priced for the quality of the dishes. They are a little heavier than what I am used to, but it is not very noticeable. The only downfall is that I have a hard time arranging them in the dishwasher like I could my old set. The "pasta" plates are just like a flat bowl, so they don't fit as well between the dishwasher prongs. I would buy them all over again though, despite the dishwasher issue.

This dinnerware set is perfect for my family of three. The black matches our kitchen decor. Each piece is the perfect size to fit our everyday meals. An additional plus for this dinnerware set is it is stackable. I must revisit my review after ilve use them through Thanksgiving. I’m not sure how chip resistant they are because I have had not used them enough to know if they can stand up under normal ware and tear. The weight is reasonable for stoneware. We not had the opportunity to use them in the microwave or use with hot food on them. I feel it’s a good value for the money. So far very good!
