Good fan. I am happy with the looks and style. Nice matte black finish. Plugs in, not hardwired. Light is nice and bright. Fan is loud but that is normal. The only complaint is that the cord comes up thru the fan too far back against the wall. Therefore, it would actually be going into the cabinet above, where the backing of the cabinet is flat to the wall instead of the bottom of the cabinet going thru a hole into free space. We had to cut away a portion of the fan (plastic plug so not too difficult) in order to move the wire about 3/4". ... show more

This is interesting. We installed the hood easily. I then contacted the company to purchase filters and replacement bulb for when light eventually burns out. I easily was able to purchase filters. However, the answer on the bulb replacement has baffled me. Evidently it is a "custom" light according to the company. They do not sell replacement bulbs nor can they tell me the type of bulb to purchase. Is this the first forever lasting bulb? I think not. The company says to contact them if it burns out, but can neither supply nor recommend a replacement bulb. ... show more

I recently purchased the Hermitlux range hood, and overall, it’s a decent product considering its price point. However, I must mention a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the fit is not as precise as I had hoped, requiring some adjustment during installation. Additionally, I noticed a few manufacturer flaws, including noticeable markings on the stainless steel. While it serves its purpose, the attention to detail could be improved. I finally had to replace the stove vent in my manufactured home and sometimes manufactured home replacement parts are sometimes hard to find even though “most” parts/items should fit. Measured twice and this one looked close to what I already had. Electrician pulled it out of box and it fit into the spot almost perfect. Would buy this product again and I hope it lasts 20 years like the last one ... show more
