Ordered this for my entryway and this is my first rattan style deco item. I'm highly impressed with it overall. The fact that it is wrapped in pieces of wood worried me but it's sturdy and well packaged to protect it. The style they chose for the install makes it a breeze to install without having a big chandelier in your way during install. Also I was highly impressed with the size of this item. Wasn't expecting it to be the size it was. It's way bigger than how the picture depicts, at least how I seen them. Bigger is always a better thing when ordering an item like this online. He construction of it is well done with its painted metal cage and wood woven around it. There's only one thing that I would not like and that is possibly dusting this light. Lots of little spaces but that's only because of the style. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a unique style that looks more expensive than basic. ... show more

This is a really cute light! The black color will go well with the ongoing farmhouse reno of the kitchen, and I like the way it looks on the ceiling. Since we haven't gotten to that stage of the reno, I can't speak to ease of installation, but it looks to be pretty straight-forward.
