Ever since I decided to let my hair go to its natural gray I have struggled with the change in texture which causes the dreaded gray hair frizzies. I've moisturized, sprayed and balmed dozens of products and none of them did the one job I wanted them to do. Then I accidentally came across the Set Me UP Spray Gel and one of the other reviews said it was good for gray hair. Let me tell you, it's not good .... it's fantastic. Forget the high priced products this stuff absolutely tames those mind-of-their-own fly aways. Shampoo, spray on damp hair and style. It really is that simple. And the best part is now I can go out without looking like I'm a close relative of Grandmama Addams.

I got sent the shampoo and conditioner to complimentary sample and try and review from Influenster, but my opinions are my all fully my own. Naturally I have pretty oily hair so that was concern when I saw the words shine in the product because I usually do not have great results with those. But I was pleasantly surprised when I used the product. Herbal Essences is not a brand that i have used before, but after using this spray multiple times during the week and it consistently gave me the same results every time. I have heard that Herbal Essence products also have a distinct smell, which concerned me because I am very picky with smells but with this spray it had such a delightful fresh smell to it. The one thing this product REALLY targeting was controlling my frizz, because hunti mama has BAD frizz. In my everyday car routine I use this o spray on my roots as soon as I get out of the shower and then I will let it sit for about 15-30 minutes before I style my hair. The only thing I would add is that if you have naturally curly hair, this much not hold your hair in place like it states, but that just might be my hair, which takes practically crazy glue to keep my hairstyle in place all day.

Just right! I chanced upon this a few months ago & decided to try it. It works out perfectly for me. My hair is so straight and limp, and I wear it short, so I need to blow dry a little shape and life into it. A few spritzes of this spray gel, comb through, then using a hair brush & blow dryer, I can get exactly what I need. I like that it is a spray gel, so no mess. There is just enough hold, and a light spray can act to hold things in place, but naturally - not like it was shellacked - it still has movement. I'm pleased with everything about this - including the price. The amount you spray can take this from light to heavier hold, and you can revive it the next day with a bit of water.

I purchased this product (in a different scent) from Walmart (brick and mortar) a couple of years ago, and I liked it, but Walmart stopped selling it (or any other spray gels it seems). I searched and searched, and this seemed to be the only way I could get it again. I really didn't need 3, but it won't go bad. I paid more for this than I usually would have ($3 a bottle x3) had I bought it in the store (I'm a couponer and deal hunter). REGARDING THE PRODUCT ITSELF, I like it because it allows me to control dry fly away hair, without looking greasy or wet like a regular gel would. It smells good, but I don't think it has a perfumed aroma, that will have other people noticing (or not with the small amount I use in my situation). I would recommend this product. It is Made in the USA, with US and/or imported ingredients, by Proctor and Gamble, a US based company.

I’m so excited that I finally was able to find a product that works for me. The product I previously used was discontinued so it’s been rough trying to find a product that provides just the right amount of hold for my THICK hair, without leaving it sticky or crunchy. I let it air dry after applying which works well for me. The 3 bottle set is a great deal, and mine arrived in perfect condition. Will continue to purchase! (Please don’t discontinue!)
