This was the perfect fit for my cats. I had 2 international flights using this kettle and I had no issues with the airline in any of the flights. It is sturdy in the lower portion (not so much at the top but this is nothing to worry about, it holds). The long straps are really useful, specially on those walkings on long airports hallways. I have 3 cats, all in different sizes and ages and they were really comfortable. Even my 15 pounds cat was comfortable enough. I used the pocket on the side to have a portable water dish, some churu, documentation, and an absorbent pad. Recommendation: wrap the base on an absorption pad to avoid water or pet leaks. Cleaning it is quite easy, just remove the base and off to the washing machine. Once dry it's super simple to fold so you can storage it. This review is for the small one. ... show more

This carrier has been absolutely essential and so functional in so many ways for me and my 11lbs chihuahua mix. It is lightweight, easy to clean, store, and the perfect size. I love the multiple straps for carrying and multiple mesh doors. Side pocket is also great for small flat items like treat bags or folding water bowl. Been using it multiple times a week for 9 months and still looks new. I have the gray color. Has held up extremely well. Don’t forget to remove the wood/foam insert when washing the insert cover! The medium which is airline approved size seems a little small for my 10 month old cat. He fits according to the dimensions and I suppose its meant more for him to lay down comfortably. Well made with nice sturdy material and bottom base pad. I actually bought another carrier that was cheaper and slightly larger but decided to return that one as the material quality wasn't as good. The carrier quality is great and sturdy considering the price. It’s a bit small so if you have a very large cat go for the bigger size. I like that there are zippers on 3 sides of the carrier, it made it easy to get my little guy in and out. The netting is strong despite him trying to dig his way out a bit.
