Don,t see this lasting long at all. Used one time and already 2 of the ropes came undone. Ropes are just long enough to tie and once they come undone at ends it will be impossible to retie. Not worth the money. Should have glued or burn ends of ropes.

The color is pretty. But where to start? There is only "one height" to it, unlike other hammocks I've owned that have chain on each end to make it as taught or loose as you'd like. Secondly, the rope only ties to the fabric part and I had to tighten each of the ties which weren't noted very well. I've had previous hammocks where the rope continues underneath and fabric and the entire fabric is removal - an added layer of protection, of which this one doesn't have. So I'm sure the weight rating for this has to be way less than your standard hammocks. For this price, should have been better made. ... show more

Had for only 2 months are the grommets are pulling away from the fabric. I assume this isn't going to last much longer before I or someone else ends up on the ground. Since I can't return it I probably won't use it anymore and I'll have to look for a new one. Going all rope like we had before.

I love this Hammock! Super happy with my purchase. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the color I chose looked very different from what I received. I wanted more of an Aqua blue/green that was pictured, and instead I received a more masculine deep blue/green. I replaced a ten year old LLBean Hammock that cost a lot more than this one. This looks great - a vibrant color - but I was in the mood for it. I like the curved wood pieces. It looks very well made and is very comfortable. I did have to go buy the chain and chain hooks but that was easy- Home Depot. We had the frame from our old hammock. Once you get into it, this is a very comfortable hammock. At 5' 7", I didn't have any trouble with the length. But the fabric is a little slippery and it is very difficult to get into! My husband tried to get in it and he immediately flipped over and landed on his butt. He has to hold the hammock steady so I can get into and lay right in the middle, then not move. All my previous hammocks were to big because the end supports did not come apart like this one. No more propping it against a wall or leaving it out in the weather to get moldy.
