Summer is finally here, and I've been looking for a smaller, portable cooler for the weekend getaways. I'm pretty price conscience, so the more expensive brands scared me away. I bit on this cooler after seeing their ads and I love the product. First, the packaging is simple and tight. The cooler construction feels very high end from the exterior to the clasps that lock the top in place (way easier to use than the rubber ones everyone seems to use). Only one problem The advertisement said that it would keep the ice up to five days. It does not. It keeps it for about two days, with a lot of melting. I don’t know what the manufactures special circumstances were, but I tried this twice. Other than that, is sleek, good looking and ergonomic.

I was really hoping to love this cooler. I researched a lot of coolers. I thought it had the features I wanted. The handles don't seem to snug the lid down enough. This may be why I only get 8-15 hours out of 8 pounds of ice. Even sitting in an air conditioned motel room, I get maybe 15 hours. The cooler leaks around the drain plug, even with the thick gasket it comes with. Most money I ever spent on a cooler. Will replace it next spring. ... show more
