These knives are really sharp - for now, at least - and not that heavy. I cannot comment on durability yet because we haven't had the set that long. I will admit that food prep is a little fast with these knives because cutting is faster as sawing back and forth with these sharp knives isn't necessary since just a swipe down and a little push ahead gets through everything we've tried to cut so far. While not a deal breaker, the block itself could use an adjustment. In the picture. the left most item is the sharpening steel. It is plain to see that the handle is too close to the first knife and there is PLENTY of room (in comparison) to move that slot a tad closer to the second knife. Again, not a deal breaker, just an easily fixable (by the manufacturer) observation. ... show more

Nice feel in hand. Sharpening steel has a plastic handle with a ring that doesnโ€™t work smoothly. Finding the knives donโ€™t like to be wet for long. Best washed and dried by hand. For the price point I am pleased with the purchase.
