    • Decent but a bit flimsy
This is an ok entry level knife set. The blade is a bit thin and bendy. Fine for my short term rental unit but definitely would not buy these for everyday cooking.

    • Non-serrated blades need to be sharpened often
This is a small version of the one my mom has, and I’ve found that the non-serrated blades need nearly constant sharpening especially when you are using a wood cutting board. If I can’t cut a semi soft tomato without squishing it completely, then I know the blade has gotten dull. I had to buy a separate sharpener which helps immensely. The serrated blades are great though, and cut as well now, months later, as they did when they were brand new. I also like how they are a good weight, with handles that don’t slip even if you have slightly wet hands - often when cutting a lot of vegetables. The scissors got a bit of rust on the hinge when I left them to air dry, so take extra care of them, but they also remain sharp even without extra sharpening. These are the best knives I’ve ever used. They remain sharp use after use. I’ve even put them in the dishwasher with no issues. They’re still just as sharp as ever. Compared to the price point of similar knives, these are worth it.
