I love this caulk brand. I have black windows and wanted caulk that wouldn’t be noticeable (it is paintable) without painting it. It goes on smooth and looks great! Definitely wear gloves as this stuff is waterproof so it is hard come off of skin. I used it in a regular caulk gun both the nozzle and the tip fit in the caulk gun cutter. Great having a cap to store the unused caulk instead of the things you would typically use to keep it from drying out. The black is vibrant and doesn’t wash/pebble off when wiped (when dry) as the cheap stuff does. Can be used in the kitchen and bathroom as well as the rest of the home. It is spendy and takes a while to cure but it is worth it! Now I haven’t had this on long to see if it cracks but if it does I will update. Oh and there is a little odor but not strong. ... show more

I used some of this to seal a crack in my driveway. The light Gray was a pretty good match to the concrete and it looks pretty good. It dried without shrinking as promised and hopefully it won't shrink in the future either. There is enough left that when the rain gutters are dry on the next nice day I want to use some more of it to seal some of the joints so they don't leak. This came with a nice screw on cap which looks like it will keep the rest of the product from drying out until I am ready to use it. (See my picture) That is a nice feature that I wish more adhesives and caulks came with. I also like how this is an all in one sealant and adhesive. It is nice to have one product on hand that you can use for both purposes. To help understand how I rate items: My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product: ***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed. **** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed . *** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative. ** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. This sealant was amazing. I used it around a hole that I drilled for drainage. Along some bathroom and windows. I have used this in 3-4 different situations, materials, and environments. Has not let me down yet. The quality is great. The best part of it was the cap that screwed on for perfect edging, as well as how the cap at the end twisted on for no mess and less drying out. I hate caulking and sealants because they’re so hard to store and they usually are dried out by the time you go back to them this is definitely worth the money and the color was wonderfully matched. Good adhesive power. Best part of the package is the removable tip so you can unscrew when finished, clean out the tip, close the opening on the tube with plastic wrap to make an air-tight seal and then screw back on the clean tip. This makes it easy to partially use the tube and store it for use later. I don't know why all tubes don't have this feature. A bit pricey. ... show more

    • This worked great for a laminated counter

I needed something strong to secure a strip of laminated countertop that had come off. The hardest part about using this was to punch a hole in the top of the tube. The plastic is so strong I ended up using tin snips to get it cut. Maybe there is a better way to open, but I could not find it. The material was easy to put on and the tip worked well. Once on, it did give me a little grace to adjust and move around the strip I was securing but once it was set it did not move. A little of this goes a long way, so I'm hoping once I have the tube sealed it can be used for other repair projects around the house. ... show more
