This product is not designed to prevent vinyl siding from falling off the wall.

Excellent product! I had a piece of siding that kept popping out every few days. After watching the video on these fasteners, I ordered a pack of ten and installed three. Easy to install in just a few minutes. After a week, the siding is still in place! Highly recommend!

These work great overall, but they can sometimes be difficult to apply properly. I would definitely recommend trying this option out if you have loose siding.

    • Don't listen to bad reviews
Size: Pack of 40 Style: LOOSE SIDING FASTENERS
So to correct the negative reviews that say that these things are flimsy and they bend too easily, I almost didn't buy them. But then I read then I read instructions like any reasonable person should do and found they are SUPPOSED to bend easily to get them into the correct postion. The instructions are included on Amazon images and also inside the package. One problem I had was that even after following instructions, my siding would still not attach onto the bottom of the clip because it was too curved. So I took some needle nose pliers and I pinched the bottom of the clips' curves into a more pointy edge and it worked properly at this point. Again if these things had not been flexible I wouldn't have been able to do that, so don't worry about the bad reviews. It is true that these are way overpriced but my understanding is they are patented recently and therefore there is only one manufacturer currently. But I'd have to guess these cost pennies to make in reality. In any case, I spent $40 instead of $200 on a service call. Good deal. ... show more

    • Work, but expensive for what they are

I am very mixed on this product. This highlights where patents can be used for overpricing. The clips are basically a length of bent 1” wide aluminum strips. They install easily and in many cases provide a little extra something for a siding piece to grab onto. You install them every 7”. If you have a single stubborn flap, then the fix is worth it (assuming it works for your gap). If you have to fix more (I have a west exposure heat issue that causes several panels to have issues), these become very expensive quickly. For what they are, the bulk packs should cost quite a bit less. Once the patent expires, these will go for significantly less. ... show more

We have a piece of vinyl siding that keeps coming loose a couple times a year - would always just get up on the ladder about 22 feet and bang it into place - until last week when that stopped working as a fix. Bought these clips and got about 15 feet of siding clipped in place in about 10 minutes. Easy to use (watch a video first!) once you get the concept (very simple concept). These things are a God send. Easy instructions. Simple yet effective! Spent years attempting to pop siding back in place only to have it go back out after some wind. Discovered these. My days of getting the ladder out to pop siding in place are now numbered. Thank you!
