Helly Hansen doesn't come cheap. I usually can't find one any cheaper than $100, ESP in this particular design. I was shocked to discover Amazon was running HH's Loke Rain Jacket at a measly $51. I knew I had to get this. I'm glad I stumbled across this, because I certainly saved my wallet a whopping $50. The jacket is lightweight, clean shape, and has adjustable elastic bands at the waist. (can't live without those.) The hood is made perfectly fit for a lady who may enjoy a cap or two. I like that it's "lipped," that way when it is raining, the rain runs off the lip rather down my forehead. It's easily washable. I've had it for a few months now and it's holding up exceptionally well, considering I wear mine EVERYDAY. (I live in the rugged terrains of Alaska.) No holes, rips or tears. I purchased the black in a large. I typically wear a medium but if you're an avid HH wearer like I, than you know they run one size smaller than usual. I hope this helps! I ordered the jacket in size 4xl (I am usually a 3xl, I wanted it to be roomier since it has no stretch.) jacket came in, feels very cheap and thin, but most importantly was way too small. I could not close it. Felt more like a 2xl. Returning it.

This was my second purchase of the Loke rain jacket. I am a small to medium size. I returned my first purchase when I purchased a medium and it was tight. The replacement large was still a close fit, but fine since it was not intended to be worn with a bulky sweater or sweat shirt.     • High quality jacket at a terrific price
I brought this jacket to Costa Rica to have a light-weight, waterproof shell for hiking in the rain forest. I like the tailored cut of it. I ordered a size up, as suggested by others. The charcoal color is a nice gray (it looked brown on my browser). It really held up well during the downpours (there's a reason they call it a rainforest!) And, the price here was much lower than comparable jackets, including used ones on eBay. I would highly recommend it! ... show more

Ordered a large as prior reviews indicated this jacket runs small. While it fit through the shoulders and arms, the jacket was way too tight around the middle and lower portion. I am 5'3", 133 lb, and usually wear a medium. Since an xl would be too big in shoulders and arms, I did not reorder, just returned jacket. It is lightweight, appears well made, and is attractive, but it is not lined, so unless you wear long sleeves under ti, you would stick to the interior. ... show more
