I absolutely fell in love with this mattress. I found myself from time to time being uncomfortable in beds and I never understood why. It wasn’t until someone told me how the sciences of bed comfort work and the different levels of mattress softness. Finally doing some research I stumbled upon the Helix Twilight Queen mattress firm edition. The Helix Twilight mattress is a gel memory foam hybrid designed specifically for side sleepers in mind, offering features aimed at improving comfort, support, and temperature regulation. I’ve always slept on soft or medium level beds but never could get comfortable because I would always sink, get too hot, only place on the bed I could find comfort was in the middle of the bed, and I would wake up with really bad back pain, sound familiar? This was a constant issue for me until I found the firm level of mattresses from Helix. Who would have thought that the firmer the bed the better I would feel. This is the best sleep I’ve had in years and I don’t think I am ever going back to anything else! The Helix Twilight mattress stands out as a strong contender in the hybrid mattress category. If you prioritize temperature regulation and comfort while sleeping on your side, this mattress offers great value for its price. Here's a detailed review of its various aspects: 1. Comfort & Support Side sleepers like me appreciate the medium-firm feel (rated around 6/10 on the firmness scale). The mattress provides optimal spinal alignment while cushioning pressure points like the shoulders and hips. 2. Pressure Relief Excellent pressure relief in my hips and shoulders. The foam contours to your body, reducing pressure without feeling overly soft. The pocketed coils beneath the foam help prevent the mattress from sinking too much, providing sufficient support without being too rigid. 3. Temperature Regulation One standout feature of this mattress is the GlacioTex Cooling Technology. I love this mattress. I was looking for something on the softer side. This is perfect! You do not sink into the mattress like those with mattress toppers, which then leave a body dent. It is a nice firm softness.

Seamless delivery, unpacking, and placing on base. Quality mattress and comfortable to sleep on for me. Hoped to get sleeping surface for wife (instead of recliner) who has badly arthritic shoulders (that did not work out, only recliner keeps pressure off her shoulders). If I needed another mattress this would be the one. Who would have thought a compressed mattress in a box would be so good.

We've had the same mattress for 20 years and it was time to get a new one. I did a lot of research and found that this one was the best for people with back problems and side sleepers. Took a few days to get used to but we are very happy with this purchase. Very comfortable and I wake up with a lot less back pain.
