  • Not as adjustable.....
Size: 2 Pack
Not overly impressed. The inner adjustable pole is noticeably shorter than other stands I’ve used, which limits how high you can raise your speakers. If the inner section were longer, these would be much more functional.

After searching in vain for an adapter for an old USS speaker stand, I found this item which solved my problem. The item arrived quickly in good condition.

  • Inexpensive height adjustable speaker pole mount
Size: 1 Pack
This is a decent inexpensive height adjustable speaker pole mount to go on top of a subwoofer with the M20 or 35mm adapter. The stock photos of the pole do depict it. It comes in 3 pieces that are all 17" long before assembling into one another. There's a video on YouTube regarding how to assemble, if needed. It's a little confusing, as there's a slit/opening in the middle of the piece with the twist know that you want the middle pole sitting in the middle of, as the piece with the know is supposed to tighten around the adjustable piece. There's a little piece of plastic/rubber inside and you want to leave it there. In the photo, its a Behringer B1200D 12" sub with a 12" speaker on top that weighs around 50 lbs. I think it would be more steady with a 15" sub beneath, but this is a spare setup that's seldomly used and this is for demo purposes only. This is probably perfect for someone on a budget, as I'm used to using thr solid one-piece heavier duty poles with more height adjustment. I'm 6ft tall and the bottom of the speaker is at my face in the pic. You're not touring the country with this thing. This is probably good for a 12" sub and 10" or smaller top or a 15" sub and a 12" top to help with sturdiness. It works, its wasn't difficult to assemble, and I have an inexpensive spare now if needed. I give it 3.5 stars because it's lighter weight and the metal scrapes a little when adjusting the height, which removed some of the black paint. But, speaker poles get beat up anyway and you can't do a half rating, so I went with a 4. We'll see how it holds up over time. If it was stationary somewhere it would be ok too. I'll update the review if I have any issues. ... show more

  • Not up to the job
Size: 1 Pack
The weight pin is too small a diameter. Other sub poles have a pin that snugly fits the hole. This one is too easily dislodged from the pole. Another problem is the clamp is a three sided plastic nut that feels like I am over torqueing it when providing enough clamping force to keep the pole in place. Finally, there is a threaded sleeve in the sub end of the pole. I have a standard pole socket in my sub that is non-threaded 1 3/8" size. There are some subs with a threaded insert that positively locks by threading the pole into place. They are high end, which I do not have in my system. I bought this one for a cup, what is the large threaded sleeve for? It is just an aluminum threaded sleeve. I do not think I would trust it with the amount of leverage from a heavy speaker. It only has a little surface area, maybe 3/8' maximum? That soft aluminum would give easily. Maybe if you are putting up small passive speakers say 8" woofer cabinets. Find something that works. For this gig, I am stuck. Will replace as soon as I can with one that will last. ... show more
