Great jacket; really well made, looks good, it’s warm, and affordable too!
This jacket is so cute. It’s affordable but doesn’t necessarily look like it. It looks and feels well made. I’ve seen similar jackets for 4 or 5 times this price. It’s a fabulous deal. The light brown fur lining is soft and cozy. I love the shade of brown used for the fur. It’s not too dark and matches the exterior green fabric as well. The entire interior is lined with the fur, minus the sleeves. The sleeves are lined in a satiny material. The army green exterior color looks great. It’s a muted green that is not too bright, but still injects an iota of color into my wardrobe. I love this color green, as it behaves as a neutral. You can wear it with many outfit styles and colors and it still works. The coat is thick and warm without feeling or looking bulky. The sleeves are reinforced with cuffs that keep cold air out. The coat zips and buttons. It looks good hanging open and zipped up. There are plenty of pockets, including some on the inside. It has a hood. I love the hood! It’s lined with the fur and super warm. It blocks the wind really well. The waist of the jacket has a drawstring that you can tighten to help add definition. I love a warm coat that still lets you define your waist. It is a great feature. The metal zippers and snaps feel solid. They don’t feel like plastic. You can feel the cool metal when you touch the snaps and zippers. It has some leather detailing on the drawstrings that subtly elevates the look. The ends of the drawstrings are finished with metal. It’s an extra touch that gives an overall finished appearance. It fits true to size. I’m 5’9”, 36b, and wear a size 28-29 in jeans. I went with the medium and it works. It is fitted without feeling tight or constrained. The jacket length is great. It covers my butt and the top of my thighs. I always veered away from jackets that covered my butt in the past, because I didn’t want the added bulk on my hips. I honestly think this coat looks great at this length on me. It looks so streamlined and not at all bulky. My buns will be toasty this winter! The sleeves are just long enough for my arms. I run into too short sleeves frequently in Amazon derived clothing. Thankfully that is not an issue with this coat. The sleeves are actually long enough. I can extend my arms and they are still long enough. With that said, I wouldn’t want them any shorter though. If you wear a lot of bulky sweaters or hoodies, you may want to size up. The medium fits with a little room to spare. I suggest ordering true to size, if you’re on the fence about sizing. I’m very happy with this jacket because it looks good, it’s warm, it has plenty of pockets, and all while remaining affordable.

Flattering Fit and Cozy Winter Coverage!
Despite being made of 100% polyester, this jacket fits surprisingly well. The shape and silhouette are very flattering, and I especially appreciate the longer length that provides extra coverage over the backside on colder, windy days. I would consider this a cooler-weather outer layer rather than something for mild temperatures. I prefer to wear a layer underneath rather than have direct skin contact with the fabric. The fleece lining adds warmth, while the hood provides a nice second layer of protection when the wind picks up. My biggest hesitation is the material and care involved. The 100% polyester construction isn't my favorite, and the faux fur makes me a little cautious about washing it at home. A cold, gentle wash may be fine, but I would avoid the dryer and give the fur a thorough brushing once completely dry to help restore its appearance. I really like the fit, warmth, and coverage. It's a flattering winter jacket, but the synthetic material and extra care needed to keep the faux fur looking its best are what keep it at four stars rather than five.

Perfect for the upcoming winter

This coat has so many plusses that I'm not sure where to start. First of all, I'm always a bit wary about new coats because if they're made with polyester, they tend to make my hair all stadicky (I'm not sure if that word should have a K in it or not.) And while this coat is made of polyester, somehow they avoided the static-causing aspect. Maybe it's the lining. I'm not sure but for me, it really doesn't matter how they did it, just that they did. I chose navy because it will go with just about anything I wear in the winter. So here goes my list of advantages for this coat. * It is really warm but doesn't make me sweat. * It has fleece lining. Who doesn't like fleece lining? Super soft. * The sleeve cuffs are interesting. While the outer part of the coat has straight sleeves with no cuffs, the coat's lining extends longer than the sleeve to form an elasticized cuff that is perfect, especially in snow. Great insulation. * The non-detachable hood is a work of art. I've had hoods that were too shallow and didn't really cover my whole head from front to back. This is NOT like that. This hood extends about 2" out from my face, so if it's snowing this winter (which it has a great tendency to do when you live in the mountains), the snow will not get my face wet. * Now if you choose to tighten your hood, you can cinch it up with the cinch cord. * If you want a more shapely look while wearing your coat, you can cinch the waist as well. * The coat has 3 pockets -- 2 on the front with snap closure and 1 on the inside left chest, precisely the right size for a cell phone. So cool and handy again if it's snowing. * The coat is roomy. I ordered my normal size and it fits perfectly with enough room to wear winter clothes underneath. * And it's long. It's about 4" shy of my knees and completely covers my behind. I'm 5'4" so it's just perfect for me. * The front has a snap at the bottom, 2 snaps at different heights at the top, and a zipper. So you have tons of options for styling this coat. I haven't seen a coat this nice in a long time. I'm so glad I found it. It is warm, comfortable, very pretty, roomy, and just right for this winter. I can't wait!

Stylish parka locks out the cold.

This is a stylish and shapely parka that should be perfect for handling the dregs of a Northeast Winter. It was a great value for the craftsmanship and style. This parka is perfect for that crusty, dusty and rusty Winter weather we get in NYC. The canvas material seems water repellant and it won't get that wet dog smell that wool coats get when they get wet. This parka should be able to handle sleet and snow. It's warm and it has features to lock out the chill. I like the double cuffs with a sweater cuff. There are snaps as well as a zipper. The hood is snug, but not too small, and you can tighten it. The plush lining feels soft and thick. You can wash the coat to keep it fresh. There are a few features I am less fond of. I like the slant pockets but it's strange that the snapped flaps open facing the zipper. It would make more sense if they opened from the sides so you could just slip your hands inside. I am not sure if I like the faux leather cord guards but I could easily remove those if I decide too. None of these issues bothered me enough to deduct a star. This is a warm, weather resistant, utilitarian coat. But it's also stylish. It's shapely and not too puffy. The sizing is comfortable. I am pear shaped so I got a medium. The sleeves aren't tight so it should be fine to wear a sweater underneath.
