Great durable tarp! I've been using this full time for my shade structure covering my tent and camp at our ranch. It's a flat top EMT structure with a slight slope to help rain run off. We get strong winds, rain, hot and cold temps, etc. and it had weathered all of our storms valiantly. We even had a hail storm, which doesn't run off, and accumulated, bulging the tarp down until I could push the hail off. I thought the tarp would tear or forever be deformed, but resumed its form like a trooper. I'm an avid festival enthusiast and have bought many tarps for various purposes and needs.     • Assuming this is fine.
Can't really screw up a canvas tarp. Need one for a shed that has a leaky rook. the previous 10mil lasted from Oct 21 through Mar 24. Hoping this lasts longer. Probably tied it down a bit too tight and made it tear faster, but if the wind catches it is is basically a sail.

    • Pretty good
The good: thick and strong and silver on both sides. Most have a darker color on the other side. The bad: the eyelets locations vary by quite a lot. You would think every two feet would be easily accomplished to within a 1/2 inch or less, but these are more like 2 inches or less.

I selected this tarp instead of Amazon’s 16 mil tarp since there were grommets every 18 inches and the fabric weave was rated higher. When I installed the tarp on my boat canopy a week ago, I immediately noticed the material did not feel as heavy or dense as Amazon’s 16 mil tarp and the grommet placement on this one was quite irregular with some placed very close to the outer edge. Once I completed installation, I was shocked how short the “20’x40’ tarp was as the length was less than 38’ long! I checked the tarp yesterday and found all the grommets on one side ripped off and the tarp blown to one side. All the reinforced corners were ripped off. My boat was soaked from rain. I tried to resecure the tarp until a replacement arrives. My last tarp (Amazon 16 mil) lasted one year in the Hawaiian sun before it decayed. Despite heavy winds, the grommets held up even though spaced only every 3 ft (much less than this brand). There is no way to reclaim the man hours I have invested trying to deal with this inferior product. I will request a refund and cannot recommend this product. I continue to search for a reliable brand that will give me at least 2 years of service. The photos demonstrate the torn away grommets and ripped through surrounding support rope caused by a 20 mph wind in a protected valley up against a tall storage facility on 2 sides. If you buy this product, I would add additional properly placed grommets in hopes that it will last. It might work fine for ground level applications. Plan on about 10% less square footage than the quoted size. ... show more

    • Best high quality tarp for a roof!
I used this tarp to cover a small roof on an outdoor work room,and it is perfect for keeping out rain and debris. I also like that it reflects the sunlight, so it helps keep the workspace cooler. I would definitely buy again as it is very high-quality.

Great, over-sized, well made quality tarps. Would highly recommend. We are using to cover the garage floor while stocking/storing a sectional couch in the garage (with another tarp same size covering it) until we get it moved to it's new home.
