Excellent gate latch! It gives a satisfying click when you close the gate letting you know it will not blow open in the wind or let your dog and children run free. No notes, the pictures really show everything. I bolted the latch onto the chain link fence for stability and to keep it a constant height. I found the metal brackets/loops would slip over time.

It works well but the one I previously got from Lowe’s I liked a lot better. This bar is shorter and fatter than the Lowe’s one. Took some getting use to.

Our 17lb Klee Kai loves escaping so we'll chase him. We don't, so he comes back in and sulks. The yard guys sometimes forget to close the gate. We always check after they leave. They started coming on a different days. Surprise! The dog's out front. Bought and installed this immediately. Problem solved.
