I have to admit I cried the first time I put this on our dog. I so did not want to resort to a pronged collar. I’ve tried harnesses, a Martingale collar and two head harnesses. The head harnesses worked, but my dog hated them and kept rolling on the ground and pulling at them taking them off. Our dog is a two year old rescue that is all muscle. We’ve been working with her A lOT on walking and while she has gotten better, she is reactive to trucks and people on bicycles. She’s about ripped my arm out of the shoulder socket numerous times pulling and yanking. For her safety and mine, I finally gave up and tried this collar. Hallelujah, it works! My dog is happy in it. She doesn’t fuss like she did with the head collars. And while it seems to have made it easier for her to judge when to slow down and has reduced the pulling, it hasn’t hurt her in any way. She can still give a darn good yank chasing a truck, but she doesn’t yelp from pain if she does so it doesn’t seem to hurt her at all. Now she backs off immediately after the first hard lunge where before she would continue to go after the trucks. I feel better knowing she’s a lot less likely to get away from me now and a lot less likely to get hit by a car. The collar is bulky and a little heavy. A smaller dog might not like the weight of it. It looks good though and it is super easy to put on and take off. We only use it for walks.

We have a 10 month old Golden Retriever who loves to take US on walks. Lol. We have been watching you tube videos left and right and trying so many techniques on how to leash train your dog. She is stubborn as all hell and we even tried a shock, vibration, beep collar. It just didn't work on her. She didn't react to any of the 3 options. We watched a video with a guy walking a Husky using a collar similar to this. We decided to give it a try and on her first walk within her first few steps she was walking at our pace at our side. This collar has really redefined walks for us and made them more enjoyable. Since Kira has thicker fur, we also removed the rubber tips. She seems to respond to it more without the rubber tips. She doesn't yelp or whine with the collar on and even if we change direction without her paying attention and it jerks her a little rough, she still doesn't yelp or whine. So this collar doesn't do any harm unless used the wrong way and not for it's intended purpose. The prongs can still pose a risk if not used with caution. The added benefit of this collar too is that because it's got a soft outer shell, it looks like a normal collar, so you can avoid the "you're using a prong collar?" Heckles from all of THOSE kinds of people. Lol. She gets lots of compliments on her pretty collar and she is so much easier to walk. Our goal is that she won't need it in a couple months. But time will tell. Persistence and patience are the two most important things when training pups and they are tough to follow cause they take time. But she's come a long way in just two weeks than she has the whole 8 months we've had her. So I highly recommend this collar to anyone. Kira is sporting the pink size M.

Great training collar. I have a 3-year-old dog that is a wonderful pet. She was never trained to walk on a leash. On two trips around my neighborhood, she walked without tugging. I only needed this for 2 days to train my smart dog. That's it: a couple of uses, and the training was completed. I like the collar because it is not harmful to the dog. It is only uncomfortable; it doesn't hurt in any way. It is very humane and works. That is what makes this collar outstanding.

It’s a little heavy for my small dog, but it works like a charm compared to the other things I’ve tried. She’s leash reactive. A gentle leader works fairly well, but it’s gotten so it’s a hassle to get it on her. She doesn’t seem to mind it that much. Right now it’s winter in New England, so the the fall risk for me is fairly high with a dog that pulls. It’s easy to put on, I like that the collar conceals the prongs. Just a star off for the weight.

So far, this product is amazing. I have tried a tactical harness, and after a day or two my dog just started pulling again like he always did. My 50 lb Husky mix likes to pull a lot! I'm never walking fast enough for him and when he hears a dog barking at the fence at us, he goes into hyper mode and is impossible to control. We have had this collar for three days and the transformation is impressive. He is not a perfect walker yet, but I feel like we are making progress with every walk now. Walks are so much more enjoyable and I have a way to communicate to him when he is doing something wrong. It does not seem painful at all, but when he starts to pull, the correction is automatic and he stops. Hopefully after a few months with this collar, the behavior will become ingrained and he will be able to use a normal collar or harness. It looks good and doesn't draw attention as a training collar or cruel. I'm very impressed with the results so far. My dog has worn out two shock absorbing leashes with his constant pulling, but here is hoping that my 3rd will last more than a week.

We have a medium size, double coated pup that takes me on walks, is reactive to vehicles, and just overall lowkey insane. We bought this as a last resort training tool and WOWZA. I wish we bought this several months ago! Our walks are so much more enjoyable, we walk together and she no longer tries to choke herself out the entire time unlike with her normal collar. The only reason I am leaving 3 stars vs higher is the sizing. We definitely should have went with a small even though she is medium sized. It runs rather large. Overall, our walks are fantastic now, little to no pulling, and she seems very comfortable wearing it!

We have a 3yo pittie/staffie mix who is VERY strong and is unfortunately a leash puller. We've tried tactical harnesses which do the job for a short while, but she still has the control and wears out the harnesses. I tried this on a hunch, especially after seeing the rubber feet to protect her neck. Using this collar has literally been a game changer! It's been a durable collar and holds up well and seems comfortable for Lola. It's easy to put on and take off & I love there's a lock on the buckle. Huge bonus....Pulling has drastically decreased! You're also able to resize the collar for a variety of dogs. For what I paid, this has been a great value for our money! A definite recommend 👌
