It was quite easy to setup and learn how to use it. It also seems to be built out of some durable metal, as long as it doesn't get left outside. I've spent a lot of time out gardening this year and actually resorted to wearing sweatpants under my work clothes to get a little extra knee cushioning, so I'm excited to have this for gardening now. The first time I used it I noticed it didn't feel super sturdy, and I can't pinpoint why, but it just didn't seem as sturdy as it could have been? I'm 195 pounds, 6' male and I'm thinking I'll need to be a little gentle with this unit as I go into kneeling position or switch to sitting position. Overall well pleased with this though and I believe it'll save my knees over the years. One nice plus is that it comes with some buckled webbing so you can make one of the side pockets into an apron, but the straps also allow me to wrap them around the unit when storing it so the whole things stays together firmly and the legs won't open when I'm hanging it on the wall in my shed.

I really wanted to like this garden kneeler. And, it’s got a lot to like. It’s handsome, seems well made, the cushion is nice and thick, and the whole folds up so that it can tuck away. It has two pockets you can add on the side and one of them has an attachment system so you can wear it as a belt/apron sort of pocket. My problem stems from its flexibility. When I turn it upside down to use as a kneeler, there is movement on the handles front to back. When I lean over and place my left hand on the left side rail, it bends outward a half inch or more. I tried both hands and the uprights still lean outward. Instinctively I get back up rather than placing my weight on a support that moves under pressure. It simply isn’t rigid. In order to see if the cushion is thick enough to be comfortable in use, I did a ‘downward dog’ sort of motion to get into place. The cushions were quite comfortable and the width of the unit more than adequate. This would suit a plus-size person comfortably, I would think. However, when I went to get up I grasped both handles and they gave more than an inch to each side. I could not bring myself to trust that they would hold. So I put my hands on the ground and did a three point old lady pushup to get to my feet. I looked over the instructions to see if I was missing anything, nope. There is a lot to like in this garden bench/seat/kneeler. But I just could not get over the feeling that it would fail and I’d land badly.

Although this is for kneeing, as I assume most gardeners kneel, I can't so I ordered this because it can be a seat too and that is what I like and need. It is made of some strong canvas material and it has pockets for gardening tools. I recommend this kneeling/seat for all who rather sit than kneel, and those that want to kneel.
