    • Grocery shopping just got fun again
I have MS and fatigue hits me hard, especially when I try to do errands. The store’s motorized carts are always either broken or taken. So I finally got my own. The two things I love most: the huge under-seat storage basket and the waterproof rear pouch. I went to Costco last week – loaded the bottom basket with a case of water, paper towels, and a bag of oranges. The rear pouch held my phone, keys, and a sandwich. Didn’t need a shopping cart at all. The 12” tires are great for parking lots too. I rolled over those speed bumps and cracks without feeling like my teeth would rattle out. And the seat is wide and cushy – I’m 220 lbs and was comfortable for a full hour of shopping. One tip: the tail light is bright enough that people in the aisle actually move aside. Huge bonus. I had a stroke last year and my left side is weak. I can’t walk more than a block without needing to sit down. This electric wheelchair changed my daily routine. My favorite feature is the front and rear lights – I go out at 6 AM when it’s still dark, and the LEDs light up the path like a bike light. No more worrying about potholes or curbs. The 500W motor is surprisingly quiet but powerful. There’s a slight hill on my street and it climbs without slowing down. The anti-tip wheels in the back give me confidence, especially on uneven driveway ramps. And the seatbelt is easy to click one-handed, which matters when your right hand is doing all the work. The 20” seat fits my 5’10” frame really well, and the padding is thick enough that I don’t need an extra cushion.
