I needed this for an entirely different application than that of a mobility scooter. I have a nice Patio Classic charcoal grill with table wings on each side, and most grill covers are HUGE. Our grill is about 48' wide by about 22" deep, and I didn't want a cover that dragged on the ground. This is PERFECT!! I also like that it's a light gray fabric, which will survive the Texas sun much better than the usual black covers, and the fact that it's fabric and not vinyl, it won't crack. Fits my Pride Victory four wheel scooter like a glove with the low back seat up. I have a cover that I bought from pride but it is too big and weighs a ton. Id rather use this one. I use a pickup lift so I had my sister cut a small slit in the cover and then reinforce the edges of the cut. I put the cover on the scooter, then put the hook for the lifting device through the slit. I can lift the scooter up and finish putting the cover on without bending over, then move the scooter all the way into the truck. I said all that to say this. The cover has made several trips cross country, through snow, ice and high winds in the back of the pickup and the scooter has remained clean and dry. I ordered this cover for my Drive Scout 4 DST Scooter. It was well packaged and came with a storage bag. It has elastic around the bottom and also has straps that clip together under the scooter to secure the cover in place. It fits my scooter with some room to spare. It is lightweight and slightly thin. My scooter will be stored in the garage so I really wanted a cover to keep it clean from the debris that blows into the garage from the outside when the door is opened. This is perfect for that. It would also work well if the scooter was being transported on a scooter carrier. I don’t think it would be good to cover a scooter that will be stored outside unless it is under cover. The cover goes on easily. It fit my BuzzAround 3-wheel scooter. We went from Idaho to California and back with the scooter covered on the back of our pickup. The cover remained on, it did not flap about. The scooter arrived without road grime in both California and when we returned home. We got this to cover a special needs wheelchair on a hitch cargo carrier. It has two good straps on the bottom that cinch well. The ekastic pulls in really good.
