As one who loses feeling in my fingers at 45 Fahrenheit, these glove have been a godsend. Positives: waterproof and they keep my hands warm during the many hours I spend at an extremely cold dog park. Downsides: They are a bit on the bulky side and the heat is on the back side of the fingers. I measured as a small but that pair was too tight so I exchanged for medium which was slightly too large. Upside there is that my fingers aren’t always right at the ens of the glove finger which allows the front of the tip to warm up, then I can pull the on tighter with warmth in the front and back. I bought these as a backup pair for skiing and using outside in winter. They are a nice pair of gloves, the fit is good and overall the material has held up very well after several weeks of use. My hands overall are kept warm without the battery down to about 40 degree and then below that the battery heaters can help. I did find while out skiing if we get down to the 20s it doesn't perform as well as my primary pair of gloves. The heaters are even with their distribution but my hands do not stay as warm. My wife suffers with severely cold hands when skiing and doing evening volunteer work at a local community Christmas light display. Electric heated gloves have been a game changer for her, and she has evaluated multiple brands and models searching for the perfect solution. These gloves from Royalrose have been the favorite she has tried thus far! Pros - Even heating throughout all fingers and thumb - Battery life is very good with the included 3000mAh batteries (higher capacity than others we tried) - Batteries are easy to install in zip pockets (this has been a problem with other brands we tried) - Gloves are very comfortable and have kept hands dry all day in wet conditions - Gauntlet style cuffs work great for fit over ski parka sleeves Cons - Touch screen feature just barely works for essential phone operations only (-1 star). It took a lot of time and saintly patience just to unlock the phone and swipe on a few emails. Forget texting. If you really need to use your phone productively you'll be taking these gloves off - The cinch bungee on the cuff dangles out quite a ways and is a bit of a snag hazard on the ski lift - Like many ski gloves/mitts, It would be nice to have wrist leash straps to keep the gloves attached to the arm when removed Overall, the cons are relatively minor points that are outweighed by the very functional features and performance of these new favorite heated gloves. Very happy, and highly recommended! Pro tip: If you plan on using these gloves for stretches longer than 3-4 hours you will want to pick up a second set of batteries. For all-day outings, a single set of batteries has come up short many times and left my wife suffering cold hands in the latter hours of the day. Before extra batteries, she would often resort to turning down the heat level to get the batteries to last longer, but that also left the gloves not really warming her hands adequately. Adding a second set of batteries has been an ESSENTIAL enhancement in extending the effective run time of the electric gloves by several hours allowing her to crack on in comfort at the highest heat setting all day. ... show more

These gloves are really well made overall, high quality using brand name materials. I wasn't sure about the size because it shows to measure just the finger, which obviously isn't 8 inches, so i assumed it was from wrist to finger. Between that and the palm measurement i saw I was a medium and they fit perfectly. The are a little bulky like others have said, but totally reasonable. They are actually very warm even without turning them on. I recently took them on a 3-mile backcountry ski trip in 7 degree weather and didn't have to turn them on until the last mile after we stopped for lunch and my hands got cold. When on, they warm up pretty fast and they do warm the fingers as well as the palms. The batteries and charger are a bit unique. I would have preferred to see something like a USB-C pack that could be more universally used. They come with a special charger that can charge both batteries at the same time and has an indicator for when they're done charged. The instructions are a bit specific on how to care for the battery which is disappointing that it is one of those that probably wears out quicker if you dont care for it correctly. One of the instructions is to not let the batteries discharge completely to prolong their life, but there is no battery level indicator so it's hard to tell how much they have left before that happens. The instructions mention/show an indicator, but there is no battery indicator on these gloves. The biggest con for me is i feel my hands get sweaty in them. Even when they were off, i felt as if my hands were sweating inside and making the gloves feel moist. When i turned on the heaters, it felt warm but wet. This didn't make a huge difference while the gloves were on, but when they were off or you take your hands out, it definitely feels colder when your hand are a bit moist. This was mostly during skiing so it's definitely a bit more of an active activity, but all of my other gloves don't give off that same moist feeling. I think these are perfect if you just need a set of warm gloves to get from point A to point B or waiting for a bus. ... show more
