Nothing bad to say, they warm up like mentioned and last for hrs. I keep them on the highest setting and my feet don't burn or sweat on cold nights. Nothing like a warm pair of PJs and heated socks on a cold night. *They have the thickness of a pair of wool socks but softer.

Very good product. I will not say that your feet get hot. However, they do stay warm. Even when the ride got wet and sloppy, the socks got wet, but my feet stayed relatively warm. I can’t wait to try them out for skiing.

I'm a cyclist who rides all year long. These went on nicely, the battery pocket is nice. Further more the lighted on/off/temp switch is actually visible thru my bibtights so I can c @ a glance c what temp I have it set @ and if I did really switch the temperature correctly. That's very important and what is very hard to do when u have two pair of winter gloves on. Yes, two pair. Ok, today was 34° while riding, windchill 20°. I started these socks/ride with them on high. 20 min later I actually turned them down. Surprised ! ? I sure was. For the rest of the ride I kept them on medium and they worked well. Note: my cycling boots are Gore and r winter boots so they are insulated well themselves which is a big factor. Plus I bought a size larger boots to accommodate thicker socks. Speaking of that. These socks aren't really that thick @ all, which is a good thing in my eyes because the manufacturer isnt trying to hide heating inadequacies of the product with thinker insulation. Plus I don't like the "pinch" I feel when my foot is crammed into a shoe when I have super thick socks on. I will update this review very soon because next week is 15° to 20° temps which will certainly test these socks. One other major concern it longevity. How long will the last being stretched over ur foot over an over. I will and do take care while putting these on and taking them off. Lets be real, they have wires in them. U can't expect them to last yankin them on or rippin them off. Take some pride and responsibility and hopefully they will last. I hope. Lol 😆 I will get back soon. Happy New Year. ... show more

This product does not live up to the hype. The socks themselves are basically a medium weight thermal sock. The heated portion of the sock is only a small square patch across the top of the toes. Likewise, it only covers about half the width of the toes. With the batteries fully charged, and the socks on the highest setting, these were not very warm at all. There is a small amount of heat that they give off, however, it's not enough to even mildly warm your feet. Non battery foot warmers that stick onto socks have worked significantly better than these. They heat up well and quickly. Hold the heat for along time. I'm in Chicago so we aren't crazy cold but I'll start on high and bring it down to low and they'll last all day, especially if they are in a insulated boot, shoe or slipper. The socks did a great job of heating my toes, which was one of my goals. For that they get three stars. The two star deduction is because they fit so terribly I couldn't really wear them other than in the house/with slippers. I echo what another reviewer said: they're somehow simultaneously too big and too small. The socks were so tight in the calves that I couldn't pull them up high enough for the battery pack to clear the tops of my ankle boots (I'd say I have average size calves). The foot portion was too loose , and the double layers of fabric were impossible to get aligned, so they were constantly bunching up around my toes. ... show more

First use; 19 - 25 degrees, duck hunting in none heated blind. Set socks on low kept my feet warm. 2nd use: Deer hunting in pop up blind 25 - 35 degrees, wind chill around 20 degrees, put socks on low kept feet warm, had muck boots on (rated 1200). The quality of material appears that these socks should last a few years, thick & soft, no issues with charging the batteries. Directions for washing them was confusing, I'll hand wash them in warm water, make sure to not throw away the caps that fit on the wired connection in the socks. ... show more
