I've only had the electrically heated throw for a few and so far it's great. The fabric is soft which makes it warm and soft so very comfortable. The instructions could be written a "little" more clearly for increasing the length of time the blanket will stay on but is not a big hurdle to leap. The box it came in is so solid that I briefly considered saving it.

I had high hopes but the controler gets warmer than the blanket. I gave it a few weeks to give fair assessment. The lights flash on controller and the numbers on the timer are incomplete. Even on the highest setting for warmth it is just barely warm. I'll be returning.

I found the fabric disappointingly thin. It took too long to heat, the wires get warm but heat doesnt radiate well throughout the throw. May be fine in temperate climate but not for anything under 50.
