The plush fabric is thick and cozy; dark gray on top, and pure white sherpa underneath, and the heat settings work as expected. The remote control is advantageous for a large bed-size blanket - it can be turned on in passing, before bedtime, and the timer is a great feature. But I got the 50 x 60 throw and realized that a remote control is unnecessary - I can simply wrap it around my shoulders or over my lap and manually turn it on. After trying a couple of different heated throws, and a heated shawl, the thing that I dislike with all of them is the bulky, heavy electrical connection attached to them, that hampers the comfort and mobility of a throw blanket, even on a rechargeable one that I tried. So, as far as my need for a cozy throw, I prefer it without any heating device at all, and I’ll snuggle in cozy, thick fabric that’s gadget-free, and get a space heater for my porch in the winter. But if I needed a heated blanket on my bed, I'd choose this, because of the remote control.

The Xiniusleep’s heated blanket is a great addition to my bedroom. I really like the attractive double-sided finish, featuring an extremely soft 220 GSM Polyester Sherpa lining & 270 GSM Polyester Ribbed Flannel outer. It’s got a wired remote & wireless battery operated (2 AAA, included) remote option. They added a handy wall hanger to stow the wireless remote. The blanket has plenty of heat options & can be set to a specific auto-off time. The care is easy. Though machine washable, the user guide recommends hand wash/line dry. It’s made of 100% polyester. It arrived in a flat packed air-tight sealed bag, and was ready to use out of the box. The wireless remote paired to the main controller without issue. The blanket will come in handy during the colder months, but I used it already while watching TV on the sofa as on oversized throw. It’s very comfortable, and was fast to heat. In closing: Though the product was under Amazon's Vine program, I used the item as I would any purchase, and wrote an unbiased, honest review based on my experience.

This XINIUSLEEP Heated Blanket Electric Throw is a thick little blanket. One side is a minky-type fabric. I chose grey, but it's really shiny, so... silver? The other side is a white sherpa fabric. Neither fabric is as soft as a similar larger heated blanket I have, which was a little disappointing. It's soft, just not outrageously soft. The main controller is attached to the cord, and it's pretty heavy. I think I prefer the kind of heated blanket that has the controls built right into the blanket. But the main control is easy to use: the "smile" portion is the power, the left "eye" is the timer, and the right "eye" is the heat setting. A tap of the buttons cycles through the options. I do appreciate the timer function—and the 4-hour auto shut-off if no time is selected, though I didn't test it out because it's almost 100 degrees F today—because I'm prone to forget to turn it off, and I wouldn't want to risk an electric blanket heating away in the family room after I've gone to bed. The heat settings, L1–L5, seem pretty warm to me (but again, 100 degrees). I don't know, and the manual doesn't specify, why the heat settings are designated L-whatever. Before I read the manual, I thought maybe there would be L for low, M for medium, and H for high... nope. All 5 settings start with L. Now, why in the world does a small heated lap blanket need a separate remote control? No idea, but it's got one, and the blanket is packed with two batteries for it. And the remote has a holster that can be mounted on the wall with screws. Maybe I need more coffee this morning, but I find that hilarious. Regardless, I tried the remote so I can report on it, just in case you *do* see the need. The power button on the remote needs a long push to turn on or off, instead of the short tap the blanket's main control requires. Other than that, it works the same. So, this seems like an adequate but not outstanding electric lap blanket. In 6 months when it'll be the dead of winter, if the blanket performs less well than it appears to right now, I'll come back and edit this review, but for now, it's 4 stars from me.

This blanket is absolutely amazing it has controls on the cable itself and it also has a remote control it's lightweight but still super fluffy heats up insanely fast and I cannot wait for the fall to use it all the time! The cord is plenty long enough to not be obtrusive and I can put it at the bottom of my feet so I don't feel it at all and I don't have to mess with it because I have a remote to control all of the functions. This is a significantly superior to most traditional heating blankets and gives you so much more control. Worth every penny

This is the perfect blanket for staying warm and comfortable. The reversible flannel and sherpa material feels luxurious and is so soft against the skin. I appreciate having 5 different heat levels to choose from, which makes it easy to get the temperature just right. The 12-hour timer is also a fantastic safety feature and a huge convenience, so I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. It's a great size for a throw and heats up quickly and evenly.

- Came vaccumed sealed - Blanket is super soft and a great length - True to color with a great white contrast - Power cord has a power button that allows you to adjust the temperature, along with a remote that allows you to adjust and set a timer. That is a great feature to have, as it helps prevent overhearing if left on - Highest heat seeting is level 5. It gets pretty warm at this temperature - I am generally cold natured, so I can't wait to use this blanket this fall and winter. The convenience alone is well worth the price.
