  • Great for Cricut stuff, not for Perler
I got this mat because I do both activities stuff and Perler stuff. For ironing on clothes this is an absolute lifesaver, it works well, and keeps the heat off my desk! But because it’s softer than I assumed it’s not great for perler. Durable, cheaper, very easy to use!

  • Perfect for Easy Press, a bit small for standard heat presses
As someone deeply invested in crafting and heat transfer projects, finding tools that make my hobby easier is essential. The Cricut Easy Press Mat is one such tool that offers the perfect solution for projects requiring a bit more pressure. It's got this soft, cushy feel that's just right for pressing those stubborn materials. It works perfectly as a pressing pillow for HTV and DTF projects. You can use it on its own with your Easy Press or layer it onto a standard heat press for that added pressure boost. Personally, I prefer to pair it with my heat press, but having options is always a plus. Size-wise, it's a little small. While it's just right for the Easy Press, it can feel a tad small when you're working with a bigger heat press like mine. I sometimes wish it were a smidge larger to cover more ground, since I have a 15x15 inch heat press. What's really cool about this mat is its construction. It's made up of seven different layers, including ones that wick away moisture. That means no more worrying about hidden moisture ruining your HTV or DTF designs. This is a really good choice for anyone who owns an Easy Press, and it's also useful for those who prefer a standard heat press. ... show more

  • No Need for Name Brand
I needed a heat press for my HTV projects and I am happy I came across this one. It’s a little small, but gets the job done! I had been eyeing the ones in the stores but they ranged from $20-30 and I was only going to pay that if I had to. I only have the small Cricut heat press (the mini one), so I don’t know how well it works with the 9x9 or 12x12 ones. I imagine it would be nearly the same as the Cricut mats. It has a rough, gritty feel to it and also has a smooth side as well. So far it’s been great to use and keeps my surfaces from getting onto my projects — I previously did a HTV project on my dining table and the table cloth print got all over the back! I am very pleased with having a mat for these now. ... show more

  • Works Great, Perfect Size, Reflects Heat
I am blown away by how wonderful this mat works with my EasyPress! I've just been using a makeshift pad of a piece of cardboard with a towel over it - but this is SO much better. For the price point, you can't go wrong. When using this mat the heat from my press is literally reflected back into the project, eliminating needing to flip it over and applying heat from the backside. The mat does get hot, so be careful touching it after heat has been applied to a project. The mat stays flat, avoiding having any wrinkling occur. It is thin, which can be deceiving, but it works wonderfully. ... show more

  • A little bulky, but insulates well
When I need to use my heat press for image transfer, I normally lay a thick towel on the counter beneath in order to protect it from the heat while I apply the press. When I saw the Heat Press Mat for Cricut Easypress 2/Cricut Easypress come across my data feed, I had two thoughts: I don't own a Cricut Easypress, and maybe it will work, anyway. So I picked it up, and voila! It works! The mat is thick and insulates well. When I'm pressing an image into a shirt, it's relatively easy to slip the mat inside of the shirt and beneath the image, so I both protect the counter, as well as the other side of the shirt, from the applied heat. A problem with the mat, though, is that I like to press both sides of the image with the heat press, so I need to turn the shirt over to get the back side. However, the mat is so bulky that it tends to wrinkle the shirt as I try to remove it, which causes the image to shift, so I can't apply heat again without ruining the image transfer. If the mat were much thinner, this would not be a problem. Other than the problem with removing the mat from the shirt without shifting the image, this is a nice product that works well at protecting counters from heat during image transfers. • Very nice heat reflective press mat
This product works really well for quilting as well The intended iron on vinyl. The size is really nice. It reflects heat back very well. Works very well for things like appliqué and iron on adhesives. It Really helps you get the back of something hot. I will have to say the product crinkles quite a bit. This is probably not an issue unless you have a cat that likes to shred crinkle sounding things, Or you have some particular And severe dislike of crinkle noises. The packaging is minimal but useful. Appears to shield your work surface very well. I still use mine on an ironing board, though just in case. It is quite hot, Surprisingly so, after use. Be careful of your fingers. I was amazed at how much heat it seemed to Reflect back at me even after I was done pressing. That probably means it’s not absorbing the heat. It’s reflecting it back. But just be careful. I’ve had other small little pads, which are not nearly as good at reflecting heat back. It does not appear to absorb water or steam, which is good. Overall, a great I would certainly get it. ... show more

  • Perfect Size for Easypress
This heat press mat is perfectly sized for use with an Easypress. It is great for helping to protect your work surface. I previously had been pressing on a wool pad covered with a cotton sheet. When I've messed up and needed to heat the bottom of HTV to try and peel it off, it was very difficult to do. This product, ironically, helps send the heat back up, so it will help it adhere if you push, but it also make it easier to try and peel off. ... show more

  • I thought this would be a little denser..
This heat mat works, I just thought it would be a denser mat. It works, but it could be better.
