I set this up and immediately began pressing cricut vinyl on tshirts and hats. It heated up quickly and the timers and temperature were extremely accurate. I don't know if I just got lucky getting this as part of the vine program or what but I have been wanting a tumbler press like this for a while now and had decided that when my current one stopped working I'd get one that was this style. So I admit I was extremely happy when I saw this as an item offered. I was a bit bugged that Amazon put the box it was in inside another box...there was no need for that but that is not the sellers fault at all. It was well packaged and arrived safely. I definitely feel this was made really well. I went over the entire thing and it's very stable and well built. The handle is very comfortable to pull to close and it is very easy to adjust. I do love too that this closes up really well and leaves very little gap even on a bigger tumbler. This is so much better than the clam shell style press I have. It's significantly easier to adjust, open and close. It's also easier to adjust out for larger tumblers. I adjusted it out to do a 25oz tumbler and it was no big deal...my clamshell one from a different band is hard to adjust out to do 15oz coffee mugs and 30oz tumblers. I don't see that being an issue with this at all. The only thing that was difficult was that you have to adjust from behind the bar. If you're sitting down (like I was) it's a bit awkward but not too bad...standing up would probably be much easier. The frame work also stayed fairly cool while it was hot. I needed to move it a bit and was able to pick it up carefully and shift it over with out heat gloves on. So I did really like that. There is a bit of an odor when it's hot but that may 'burn off' as it's used. I always find that sublimation has an odor anyway. So, I can't figure out what I did with the instructions...apparently, I set them down somewhere (oops), but I had read through them prior to doing that. Instructions are well done and very clear, very easy to follow. Good thing is that I was able to do my first tumbler in it without even having the instructions! Yes, it's that easy to use! Press set up and then adjust your temperature It flashes and tells you what you're adjusting. The press set up again and it flashes to adjust the time. I am positive the instructions would have said this but I had to press start twice to get the counter to work...but what I noticed is that when I opened the handle and closed it again it started to auto countdown for me. LOVE THAT!!! I did check the temperature with my laser temp gun and the temperatures are accurate...super important when you're doing darker color tumblers...especially blacks. On the tumbler in the photo I printed the design with an Epson ET2800 color setting at Epson Vivid. 360 degrees F for 60 seconds (seam facing the front), then rotated 180 degrees & 60 seconds, then rotated seam down for 60 seconds and it came out perfect. That is also the temperature guide that they had in the instructions. I do love that they included that info in the instruction book. Also, if you had to change the heat element at some point it would be a very easy thing to do. I am so thankful that this was offered because I feel like I can now do tumblers so much easier that I was before. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands and on the clamshell one I have from a different brand I have to smack the lever a bit hard to get it to open and that hurts after a while so getting this made my day. Now, I will not say anything about safety in leaving this plugged in all the time because as a good safety practice I unplug things like this after I'm done using them anyway...please unplug your equipment that heats up after you finish using it...it's just a good idea to do so for safety reasons. I know this is the first review for this press so I want to add something. Yes, I do get things to try in return for doing a review on the item. I know that people may think that this would sway me to leave a glowing review. Um...NO...it does not, I have no problem stating if there is an issue with something because it's my hope the manufacturer will be able to improve their product if it's needed. So far I have not found anything I dislike about this tumbler press...now if that smell doesn't burn off over time that might bug me lol...but it just means I'll have a fan blowing that smell away from me. With the vine program if I accept over a certain amount in items I have to pay federal taxes on it...AND I have to pay what would be the employer portion of social security...so I'm not exactly getting this for free...trust me...my taxes were impacted last year lol. Bottom line, if you're looking for a tumbler press I would easily recommend this one over a clamshell style. ... show more

Finally got a chance to try this out and it works great. Even on travel mugs, (blanks) along with smaller sizes. It does get hot as you would expect so you need to wear thermal gloves for protection.
