What the hoo-ha with the bad reviews? This little machine works great, heats up fast, and works so much better than my iron. It’ definitely a step up. I love that the heating plate is slightly concave (?). It makes pressing an easy task. I used parchment paper to cover the iron-on (both vinyl and iron-on transfer paper) and was able to move and press, move and press all around and around to fuse the iron on to material. Directions were a little scarce, but I figured it out after a couple of shirts. Bonus: I purchased mine used and discounted, so it worked in my benefit that someone didn’t know how to use it, thought it didn’t work, and returned it. It works. It’s not going back.

I was so excited to receive this Heat press several days earlier than expected. It is so easy to use. Set your temp with the dial and press after it warms up. Came with mat and tray to put it on when hot. Great product!

The media could not be loaded. Used this heat press maybe 5 times and it stopped working. The temp bounces back and forth between 68-69 or 70-71. When I contacted them to use the manufacturer warranty they sent me a baggie of wires. No instructions on what to do as if I know what to do with them and expected me to fix it myself. That is not how a warranty should work! I would not even give it 1 star if I could. Spend your money on something more reliable and with a company who honors their own warranty. This is not that company!!

Works a treat just the right size. Heats up quick. It needs better instructions and has a learning curve for sure and if your not used to a heat press at all it may seem a little Intimidating but it's not totally terrible. I've worked in a print shop before so I knew how to troubleshoot the product and the htv I was using so I got the result I was after. Word to the wise have time to test and space to work so you don't injure self. Like I said it's not my first te with a heat press but for the size and price I'd recommend it to people doing general person home work.

I have a clam shell T-shirt press that I spent hundreds of dollars on and I use this press instead! It is so easy to use, it heats up in seconds, it’s lightweight and easy to store. I have never used a cricket easy press, but I can’t imagine that it would work any better than this does. It has a vibration setting that you can turn off and on. I didn’t think that I was going to use it, but I actually do and I like it. I do all of the pressing that I need to and then I use the vibration setting for a few seconds. I have made over 100 shirts so far and none of them have peeled! I use various brands of iron on vinyl and all have worked wonderfully. I am very pleasantly surprised at how much easier this is than my heavy clamshell press. I have only used this for shirts and canvas bags, but I am going to attempt a pair of canvas tennis shoes later tonight. I think I can maneuver the shoes around the corner edges to get it to work. I could never get the stand to connect properly, but that is probably user error. But I can still put the press on it and it does no damage to the base, the press or anything below it. I will attempt to edit this review later and add pictures.

I had been wanting to purchase a heat press like this one for a very long time but did not want to spend the money on one. I did my research on this one. I wanted one that is easy to use (check). I wanted one that was full-proof (basically, check...unless completely neglected by the user). I wanted one that automatically cuts off (check). I made over a hundred personalized nylon bag backpacks for our VBS kids! It did the trick! I was a little concerned that the nylon would cause a problem...but the safety features and guides that come on this machine made mistakes minimal. If you are trying to decide...this is the perfect first press!
