This product fit well over my standard looking oven knobs. Due to the oven door handle, we installed them so they open up instead of down which is fine. They are sticking well so far and are easy enough for us to open. They are perfect for preventing accidentally turning on the gas while reaching on tippy toes to get my hot soup out of the microwave. My toddlers haven’t tried to bust them open yet so I can’t speak to their resilience vs tiny hands with vice like grips. ... show more

1) I did not have to buy 2 sets because it came with 5 knob covers! Wow! 2) They were large enough for my Samsung Gas Stove knobs. See pics. 3) Notice that if allowed to remain open, the covers do rest on the oven's handle. However, in no way are the knobs unaccessible. When using the oven be sure to close the knob covers. 4) I chose as others did to ignore the adhesive double-sided disks. Spin away. 5) On my stove one must pull knobs off their stove, open cover & slip it over knob stem on stove & replace knob. Finally snap cover closed. (The covers are pinched from either side to open.) From opening package to inspection of knobs & final installation, 5-7 minutes! Exactly what I was looking for. No accidental gas leaks via hip, toddler or pet. ... show more

Our Doberman/Airedale puppy is big enough to try to get things off the stove. She's managed to turn on the burners multiple times, almost starting a fire. We installed these know covers and that fire danger has stopped! They're easy to install and open easily when we need to use the stove.

I threw away the adhesive backing thinking that because we rent, it’d be easier to not mess with that. I didn’t mind if the plastic covers spin. Well the knobs pop off if you pull them, right? Well the covers pop off with the knobs inside if you (your toddler) pulls on them… :/ Manufacturer should have the backing already attached to the backside of the covers so consumers don’t have to place them, just peel and stick on the stove. Maybe then people like me wouldn’t throw them away. Still, they work well, as long as you just spin and don’t pull off. ... show more
