We have a large home 5,000 sq ft and we don't always want to turn on our 2 forced air heaters. This stove is perfect for our pool room ( 800 sq ft) this is our 'go to' room now for the entire family. I was very skeptical. Photos and videos do not do this product justice. Kudos to the designers. Flame effects are excellent in all modes, remote control is well thought out and the heater/blower keeps our 400 sq ft living room toasty. Now just needs the fire crackling sound on the next version at these price points.

Out of the box... with no heat turned on the "E3 error" displays. E3 error shows in the user guide as : "Manual Reset overheat protection triggered" - "Contact customer service for a replacement thermostat sensor. Wait What!? the overheat was triggered... with no heat on... the unit over heated?! Contact customer service.... ok... let me find that info in the user guide... THERE IS NO customer service name or number anywhere listed in the guide.... I spoke with Amazon again... they got me in touch with the distributor... On hearing my problem they sent this in an email: " In the meantime, we are wondering whether you can accept our solution of sending you the replacement parts needed if the issue can be fixed by replacement parts?" Really... I spent $175 on a 1 year warrantied item... and they want me to become a electrical technician for the bad parts they install? Do you also want to become their quality control department. Amazon sent me the RMA form. Because this was not sold or shipped by amazon, the distributor is expected to refund return freight charges. When I sent it back.... for a cost to me of 101.55 UPS... the Distributor told me in their response to the email. They refused to pay the shipping fee ....."If Amazon promised to cover the shipping fee for you, please contact Amazon Customer Service. So sorry about that. And we checked that you have returned the item, we have issued a full refund for your order. The money will be refunded to your original account. It usually takes 2-3 days. Please check it later. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know. Hope it helps and have a nice night. Best regards, Allison" So another call to Amazon. Ohh.. by they way the distributor is not unbelievably named "Overwhelming". After another call to Amazon... they refunded the freight charges. Total time for all my calls to amazon on this matter over 96 minutes. Last thing .. if you buy this item.... you deserve everything you get..... you have been faithfully advised, because you Can't make this stuff up.
