It's nice that I'm giving my dog better food. But I have noticed that some of the recipes titles are different from the recipes instructions. Obviously someone did not proof read the book . So I guess you could just not go by the title and just make the recipe. Other than that I really like what I have learned about feeding my dog the right ingredients and amounts for better health. The first two recipes I decided to make had instructions for completely different ingredients than what was listed. For example, p 129 Chicken with Blueberries lists blueberries, yellow peppers, and quinoa as some of the ingredients. The instructions mention none of these and no blueberries, but give instructions for carrots and corn! ... show more

This book is okay but the first half of the book, and I mean half of the book is into to home made dog food, how much your dogs needs, what your dog needs, it's a lot. Wish there were more recipes.

I've always been overwhelmed by the thought of making my own dog food - but this book is easy to follow and takes the mystery out of it. One of my dogs is diabetic, and I came away from this book with some ideas I want to try for him (I'll run it by my vet first, of course). Recommend!
