I desperately wish there were lighter versions of this kind of wheelchair but I understand all the components make it heavy. It is easy to recline and being able to take the arm rests off make it easy to push legs under tables for eating. The chair is a bit on the high side for my granny. It is so great that she can lift her feet up and relax her head when I have to take her to practices and rehearsals with me. ... show more

A few things that I don’t like about this chair: 1. There is a big open gap at the back of the seat where it meets the lower back of the chair. Going to have to get a bolster pillow to put there. 2. There is no locking mechanism in the back of the chair-only the manual brakes in front which are metal that press the tire when the lever is brought forward. I don’t think they should be metal. It’s going to wear down the tire. Hard rubber would be better. 3. The arms wobble ALOT-they do not lock in tightly. 4. There is no set up manual. Positives are its highback for tall people and it is nice looking and a good price. ... show more

This wheelchair is the only comfortable wheelchair my husband can use for extended sitting. The headrest is critical to his comfort when sitting. The ability to recline is a plus. It operates on hydrolics to recline so you can select any position. I recline the back as needed. This wheelchair is more beefy and the back is taller than traditional wheelchairs. I can lift and load it after removing the headpiece section, which comes off with little effort. Then to collapse the chair, a stabilizer bar is let down from one side. Handles on the seat allow you to pull up and collapse the chair. Leg rests remove easy and also swing away when needed. Once the chair is ready to place in my car, I lock the wheels easily with the handle. I was concerned when I ordered this that I could not lift this chair, but no problems for me. I was also concerned that it would not fit in my Volvo wagon, but it does. I do have a seat board and lambskin cushion when using this wheelchair. This reclining chair is one of the best thing that i invested in my life. My mother is just about to complete 93 years. She has begun to have these episode of black out, especially after eating her breakfast. The doctor claims that she is not getting enough oxygen to her brain. And that her head has to be in a flat position quickly. When it occurred over the last couple of months i would have to hurry and get her out of her conventional wheelchair and into her bed . It was killing me and taking a toll on my back. The following day after i purchased it, she had one in the dining room. Fortunately, i was ready and this is the video you see. It made a world of difference for me and my family. I thank God for the inventer and distributor of this product; you' ve given me a select quality of life..thanks again... You're the best! Missing leg and foot rest. Broken arm rest, and missing cap to cover screw on left front wheel. Very disappointed in the response from healthline. Did like the smooth ride. Tried to get them to replace just the missing and broken parts . They wouldn't do that. Waiting on new one now!

hubby kept falling asleep in a regular daytime wheelchair, so I bought him this so he could recline without moving him to a bed. He is 6'2" and the head part is great, just right, he must have super long legs cause his knees bend too far to use the feet holders. I wanted to elevate his legs as well to reduce the swelling in his feet, but he kept falling between the pads. So I just used the leg braces for when i worked on his feet one at a time. ... show more
