So I got a 3 screen set up for work but my laptop only has one HDMI port, I thought buying this product would make it to where my laptop would display and intake it as 3 separate screens unfortunately just because it was only one HDMI port it read as 2 screens I tried looking online and wasn't able to get it to read any differently but definitely worth it if your trying to replicate a screen or get your laptop or device to show on 2 extra screens. ... show more

    • Only splits one way
I am sure I missed it in the description, but it only spits one way. Which means if you have two cpus that you want to connect to one monitor to switch back and forth you can not. It is good quality though, and does work well. Just make sure it works for what you need it for.

We wanted to be able to view our security cameras on two monitors in different locations. Most splitters just give extra slots but make you toggle which screen to view on.     • does not split computer into two monitors
May be great for splitting to 2 tv screens, but wil not work splitting a m2 mini mac single hdmi outlet to tv and computer monitor. I'll keep in my treasure trove of multiple doodahs for future or until hdmi is no longer used. A distinct possibility!
