Description

The HD Switch Deck Leveling Gage has a Stabilizer Extension used to Make Deck Leveling Easier, faster, and more accurate. Place an Object (like a hammer) on the extension during the deck adjustment, which prevents the gauge from falling over and allows for precision adjustments - Saving Time and Aggravation. The Measurement arm is twice as thick as competitive gauges. This prevents the arm from flexing and provides a much more accurate measurement. The Base of the HD Switch leveler is completely flat, ensuring repeatable measurements.

Simple tool, look at the pic to figure out how to assemble it. THE FIRST thing you need to do BEFORE checking your deck is to BE SURE your tires are at the proper inflation. Having said that, and done that, hopefully this will help me get my ZT back to mowing level. UPDATE after using it: Now I know why they had the Snap-On shop hammer laying on the base, it is flimsy and NOT flat! A minor thing but made me question the price and lower my rating from 5 to 4 stars. Just make sure you're holding it flat the same on all checks. ... show more

The first picture contains multiple objects. I first though {from a quick glance} that there were several accessories included. This was not the case. There were no instructions and I did not see the small spring washer in the envelope, so it was not installed with the arm. The arm can not be removed but it can still be used without the washer. Finally, I found the accuracy a bit off. With the base on a flat surface and the top of the arm at 3 in. above the surface, the scale indicated 2.75 in. It would seem that the missing washer would not correct this. I decided to purchase a different item. ... show more
