Most impressive thing about this camera is the full metal construction. It comes with all accessories needed for installation. Panel tool, electrical tape, and wire snaps. Can be used as a backup or forward view cam. Comes with a really nice at of instructions.

This for starters is unlike most aftermarket cameras It feels solid not light weight plastic. The picture has a crisp bright picture and colors were spot on. I like the fact that i can choose to have grid lines or simply cut a wire to eliminate the grid. The install kit is everything needed and plenty of cable for even the big SUV's. Another nice feature is the ability to easily adjust the lens to fine tune the installation location most other cameras your having to settle with a slightly off center view because its a fixed camera in a fixed housing this is not. This camera is a value to be had It compares to OEM cameras in my opinion I have tried many and happy with this one. Easy to recommend this back up camera. ... show more

I won't lie this was my first time setting up the camera so it a while to set up. The video is decent but not the highest quality but just right for being my back camera on my SUV. The adhesive survived a heavy rain storm.

I upgraded the head unit (radio) in my 2017 Ram 2500. I had always used a wireless backup camera for my 35-foot 5th wheel camper and the 7-inch monitor for that system was mounted just above the stock head unit. With my upgrade, the spot where the RV backup monitor was mounted was no longer available. I wired this backup camera to a wireless RCA transmitter & then wired the wireless RCA receiver to a video input on my new head unit. I did have to get the transmitter as close to the truck as possible via about 30-feet of RCA cable but that has nothing to do with this camera. Once everything was setup, this camera is providing a good picture from the rear of my camper that I am able to access via the head unit. For a 'standard' installation, I don't know how this camera WON'T work out well for you. Picture is clear & you can hide or show the guidelines by simply snipping a single wire. Works great. It is fairly easy to install, you may need some tools like a crimper or wire stripper and possibly some panel pullers etc. The wire that runs to your head unit is about 26 feet long so it works for even trucks and suv's.

The nice thing about this camera is that it comes with multiple mount options which most don't. The image was nice and this camera got the job done. Easy to setup and have no issues!
