I have a plastic step stool that I have been using for years. Well, now as the years have gone by, I need one that I feel comfortable using. Just stopping on this, I feel comfortable that I’m not going to topple over. I like that this has a handle to hold onto. I have a very high bed and it’s getting harder to climb into it. With this, it makes it very easy to climb up now. The stool itself is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. You can put both feet on it and still have some room. And when you’re not using it, just slid it under the bed and the bar is right there so you can reach it to get down and up. It took me about ten minutes to put together. The instructions were simple to follow. I bought two of these. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. I can use the one downstairs for getting into my high kitchen cupboards. I’m short so this gives me about 9 1/2 inches more to reach things. It is non slip where you step on it, and the handle is cushioned so it’s comfortable to hold on to it. The step stool was easy to assemble. All the tools required were included. It is light weight yet sturdy. My wife recently had back surgery making getting in and out of our SUV difficult. Purchased to use next to a new and much higher bed. It took a few minutes to put the parts together and was simple to do. Just a lot of parts. I was surprised at how sturdy it actually was. The step stool arrived on time and is sturdy and exactly what we wanted, however deducting 1 star because it arrived without directions and there is no link or instructions in the description of the product. With a little help from the other reviews we were able to assume and assemble fairly easily. Would recommend the seller to add a link to instructions for “just incase” purposes. Tried googling, and using their website but was also unsuccessful. If you need directions use the small screws on the underbelly of the step on I and J. Criss Cross parts I and J to match the stickers underneath making sure I (flat middle) is under J. Then flip over and use longer screws as bolts for the hand rail at the base. The middle of the base uses the flat screws with the Allen key. Oh and use both tools on each side at once to tighten. Very pleased overall. Durable. Made well and everyone in our household able to use it so far. Fits well into corner space. My husband had to assemble. Might be a little more difficult to assemble for people with arthritis of the hands. But have to say we are pleased.

Came quickly and Is good quality. However I will point out do not lean too heavily on the rail before you step on it. This will cause it to tip over if your not careful.

    • I didn't know how much I needed this until I got it. The handle keeps me from losing my balance.
I love the product, except a screw was missing that held the handle together. I reported the problem and another one was sent out immediately. I appreciate that the company stands behind their product. I retrieved the missing screw and returned the extra one to Amazon.

The step stool is just what I needed. It was easy to put together, all tools needed were provided. It is easy to step up on. If all you need is one step up, this is easy to use - especially with the handle.
