    • Easy to assemble and very comfortable
Overall, I really like this chair. It was pretty easy to assemble. It took me longer than it should have (about an hour) because I went very slowly and carefully. I have a habit of getting halfway through an assembly, realizing something is backwards (or something) and having to back-track if not start all over. I didn't want to do that this time so I really took time to check and double check. Plus, I had two cats "helping" me. The instructions were easy to understand but the pictures weren't really very helpful. If you've ever put an office chair together you could probably do this intuitively. Once it was put together I sat down and was pleased to discover it was even more comfortable than I had expected it to be. The seat is nice and thick and supportive. The padded armrests are just firm enough and not too squishy. The adjustable head rest feels very comfortable and the pillow feels great as neck support. For me, it is just high enough on the highest setting so whether the height works for you will depend on the height of your desk. I strongly recommend you compare the dimensions of this chair with your needs because it will definitely depend on the height of your desk. The mechanisms for raising and lowering the seat and for reclining are very smooth and the reclining function can be set at precisely the angle that is wanted. Really the only complaint I have is the foot rest. The foot rest is a big part of why I got this chair and I've been searching chairs with this feature for a long time trying to find one I thought was strong and reliable; however, this foot rest seems to be extremely flimsy. I reclined all the way back with the foot rest out and my feet resting on it, and I kept hearing a "creaking" sound as if it was going to break off. I don't think I'll ever use the foot rest, which is a big disappointment. That being said, I'm not sure it's as desirable a feature as I thought it would be. Reclined all the way with my feet on the floor feels perfectly comfortable and I no longer think the foot rest is a "must have". Still, I paid for it and should be able to use it with confidence. That gets a big down-check as far as I'm concerned. Again, overall I really like the chair. It remains to be seen whether it will hold up over time but I suspect it will be fine as long as I take good care of it. ... show more

The seat cushion is very thin and the hard surface below it is not an ergonomic shape. It’s a problem even for light weight people (I only weigh about 155 lbs). After a few hours at my desk in this chair, my low back and SI joints are killing me. An added pad might help, but I can’t recommend the chair by itself. UPDATED REVIEW//UPDATED REVIEW BOUGHT April 13, 2021, TODAY'S DATE IS JULY 12, 2023 This chair will not stay up, I'll be gaming and I'll start sinking and next thing I know I'm all the way down. It's truly annoying. Hasn't provided me with back support, I also have bigger hips, which after hours of gaming I start to feel the sides of my thighs/hips dig into the plastic arms, It was good for the first year but this is not a long lasting chair. Overall it's a better option than some of the cheaper gaming chairs and it actually gives you some support for your back which was important to me since I have scoliosis, I'm happy with my purchase and I saved some money getting this chair vs a more expensive option that does the same thing. Pro's -Pretty standard installation, my boyfriend did most of it not going to lie, took about an hour to assemble -Beautiful design, very nice bright white color -Easy to clean, I wiped down everything with some multipurpose spray (excluding the cushion) -Perfect for my all white PC set up idea, aesthetically pleasing to the eye -Gives me some back support so I'm not slouching in my chair as I game -Does have a feature where you can lean back quite a bit -Has a cushion that come with and you can put that wherever you want to -Seat cushion is very nice, not sure how long it will last though -Minimalistic -Pillow cover material is actually a nice gray color -Good looking chair for a good price Con's -Everything had a funky smell to it, especially the seat cushion and the cheaply made pillow insert, just some cheap cotton in some even cheaper fabric -They should label the boxes because I didn't know that the support arms were face up in the box and I accidently slid my knife across the top, good thing it only left a little poke, but still -There were some scratches on the plastic in random areas, but not a huge deal ... show more

I was sent a replacement chair which doesn't have any of the previous issues as the first. It is locking in position, it doesn't make tons of noise when shifting in it, it doesn't lean to the side no matter how tight it is. I am still very frustrated at how bad the first one was, so not giving 5 stars due to that reason. But, the seller has made up for that by sending a new one and I appreciate that gesture. Previous review below: Not even 3 months old and the chair is completely useless! The locking back will NOT LOCK anymore. The chair is listing to the left side, neither of these problems can be fixed by tightening any more. This is by far the worst purchase I have ever had with amazon. The threads in the metal weren't properly deburred from the tapped hole, so immediately cross threading was happening. The netting on the head rest has a clear thin area that is immediately noticeable. It makes (made it doesn't work anymore) horrible noises when simply shifting to sit up, I am not a heavy person, this is not a weight issue. This is extremely poor quality and quality assurance. I am so mad I have to buy another chair ALREADY! I will never recommend this companies products to anyone! ... show more

I bought this chair January 2021 it is September 2023 and I need a new chair. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last that long. I only use the chair to sit in it for work and it lasted two years. I work from home. I expected the chair to last longer than two years. It keeps shrinking when I sit in it and I am short and my desk is high so I can’t type when the chair is low. ... show more
