    • Sad piece of junk
Quit working after only 3 seasons. Before I am blamed for not properly maintaining it, rest assured it was professionally kept, as I use a pool maintenance service. It is now $760 more than what I paid for it. The heater repairman says that the problem is probably the gas tube and/or burners and the whole thing would need to be dismantled to even see if those things are the problem. He said i would be about 2/3 of the way to buying a new one after the service call. I also had to pay $187 for him to tell me it can’t really be fixed without taking it apart and recommended I try to do it on my own. Pool heaters are notoriously pieces of **** that last 4-7 years max. I would not buy another Hayward. Period. ... show more

Make sure you get the extended warranty-these heaters are very fragile. Always mixed the right chemicals and test your pool twice a week. Heats up your pool in 2-3 hours maybe less depending on your size. Get ready for that gas bill to sky rocket. 🤷♂️

This pool heater works great! It increases the water temperature at about 1 degrees per hour. We have about a 9000 gallon pool. I highly recommend Hayward!!!

Awful internal wiring design. Ribbon cable was by design ran to close to a fan and burned through the cable causing an electrical error. Inoperable from the first use. Was professionally installed. Will update review after contacting support.

Junk Heater stopped working after 10 months….. Visit the BackyardPoolSuperstore. Said call mfg… mfg no resolution. Will have to pursue Amazon for help with this seller
