I have tried all of Hawinks needles. Big little small. Amazing work. I still use them. The needles are sharp, they do what they are supposed to, and they will last you for what they are worth. Plus, they are one of the only few brands you can buy in bulk on Amazon. So whether your an apprentice or scab wizard, these are definitely recommended. However! I got 2 gripes with these and WJX cartridges have this issue too. 1. Skin tissue and ink can easily cake up and deliver ghost lines so you have to wash the needles often. 2. If your power supply is cheap it will spit ink out sometimes. If your power supply is good it will push the whole needle grouping out sometimes. So remember to run your machine first then put the cartridge in. Sounds like common sense but in the flow of things you forget. Other than that they should upgrade these. Hawink V2 anyone? Packaging was great. Actual box of carts was in impeccable condition. All of these cartridges have come out of the package in good condition—no duds—which is even rare among super expensive brands. Of course it’s nice to have the fancy stuff when you’re making enough money to justify buying Kwadrons every time, but in a slow season or just to have in the mix, these are great.
