This is an amazing 6 inch full size futon mattress that I’d also think would work great as a regular mattress as well. I ordered this for our finished garage, extra living room/gaming space to eventually install a futon when I get the frame. However straight out of the package we’ve been using this non stop. My kids (13,11,5) love to relax and watch shows on it, nap, wrestle and most recently during a freeze in the south we set it up in the living room for movie nights. As a family of 5 I feel we can never have too many loungers/beds etc. since our kids still all love to bunk in our room occasionally. This is a great size mattress while still being lightweight enough to be portable. For instance we have a queen size couch bed and lugging that thing around is so hard. This mattress folds up easily and I can slide it into the living room and my room quickly and by myself. It’s also perfect for those sleepovers with multiple kids and they want to bunk in the main house space. There really are so many uses for this. Overall we love it! It’s high quality, the 6 inch foam holds its shape and there’s no sinking to the floor if laying on it. It also doesn’t bounce around like old spring mattresses and probably the best part, the cover easily removes for washing. I highly recommend this especially for homes with kids that love to hang around, wrestle each other and sleep in places other than their own beds. We’ve been really enjoying it! ... show more

Pros: I got this futon mattress not for a futon but for use as an extra mattress for visiting family. While I did not sleep on it, I did rest on it and found the foam extremely comfortable and my family member who slept on it for a week reported that it was more comfortable than her bed at home. The six inches of foam is just thick enough for support and the mattress is light enough to move and store easily. I slept on a futon for a year many years ago and I wish it had had a mattress this comfortable! Cons: none Conclusion: great quality futon mattress at a great price ... show more
