Features

  • Those who understand the trouble of drying clothes when in travel or cost of using a gas or electric dryer when cleaning clothes know the paybacks of using a clothesline. The clothesline is made of stainless steel material that makes it strong, durable and rust retardant. It is ideal for home, indoor and outdoor use. It is a recommended clothesline for regular travelers, campers, and hikers that love spending much of their time outdoors.
  • What makes it unique is the black clips that restrain the 12 pieces of clothespins from sliding. Therefore, clothes won't glide to the center. Again, the clips can be moved smoothly from left to right and vice versa by press and hold the little button on the top of the clips. Those who prefer the freshness of line dried linen can rely on this clothesline. It can be used in hot, humid, wet and dry environments.
  • Used to hang different types of clothes such as towels, cloth diapers, underwear, socks as well as bathing suits. Those that love traveling, camping, swimming, fishing, boat riding etc. can use it between the trees or in their canopy to attach wet towels and trunks. Moreover, it is capable of retracting, hence, can save a lot of space when not in use. It can be stored with ease as it takes the least space in a traveler's backpack.
  • It's elastic and can be stretched to any length up to 10 feet

  • Perfect to bring to cruise
Use this to hang across balcony to dry off bathing suits on the cruise. Perfect.

  • Simple
Style: Black
Great quality, many hooks with spacer in-between. Easy to string between 2 trees. Great for camping, hiking, or just hanging the tools by the pool.

  • Hang Ten (or more) with this clothesline.
Jury is still out on how well it holds up; but the cord does stretch at least 10 feet and holds laundry until it dries. It does accomplish this mission. The question is how nit-picky one wants to be about the clips attached. I decided to buy this because I was tired of fighting with the folding wooden accordion torture rack clothes dryer in my tiny one bedroom apartment (even though two six inch GearTies hold the thing nicely from collapsing, fyi). I wanted alternatives and Amazon delivered. I easily strung this from my shower curtain bar (permabuilt into the tile in my apartment bathroom) to the top hinge of the bathroom door - worked great. Not exactly a time to allow Better Homes and Gardens in to photograph your place for their next issue of "Amazing Apartments" but we all must have laundry days. This line helps me cut down on ridiculous dryer costs. A few thoughts about the clips: Pros: They are conveniently anchored onto the line- one will not loose them in transit. Black bead stoppers keep clips from sliding towards each other. Con: I would like to see 3-4 extra clips in the bag, free floating so one can use as needed. Con: one cannot fold laundry over the clothesline, then clip to hold the material the old school way. (This method gives heavy wet towels a fighting chance to stay amast.) Instead one must clip a clothing item *under* the clothesline in between the pinchers of the attached clip, which means one will need more clips to give wet beach towels a chance to stay put. Tomato, tomahto. All depends on how heavy the items are. The idea of traveling with lightweight clothing is appealing to us all as we age (and think about how, exactly to exit town quickly if one must) so the clothes must serve us better. On this line, lightweight clothes dry quickly; and pinchers have a decent grasp, so there's that. The only other thing that can make you crazy is the black bead stoppers which can be sliding in the opposite direction you are hanging: be sure to start hanging clothing from the end that starts with a clip. (Repeat after me: " Clip first, then slide the stopper in place, all day long you'll be saving face.") Otherwise, clips will collide. As an experienced (do not read "older") Mom, I'd throw 3-4 extra regular clothespin clips into the bag in case you are too tired to care and get out of sequence while hanging up the gang's wet swimsuits. :d Enjoy the savings. ... show more

  • Perfect for camping
Style: Black
It can be hard to find a time and method to dry things when you're on an extended camping trip. I bought this product because I've previously relied on using either end of my hammock as a clothesline, but damp clothes always sag into the middle or get blown off the hammock straps. Although this is simple, this clothesline works perfectly. It's easy to set up - in the attached pics, I just wrapped each end around the tree and hooked it onto itself. The clothespins are sturdy and aren't at risk of falling off or getting detached/lost, and I particularly like the clip stoppers. It made it easy to keep heavier items like shoes or my dog's harness from bunching up and slowing the overall dry time. All in all, a fantastic and cost effective purchase. ... show more

  • This works great on a cruise ship
Style: Green
This product is great. It is easy to put up. It allows the user to dry clothes outside of the bathroom. It also is long enough to hold two shirts and four pieces of underwear. I bought this after using our daughter-in-law’s on our 15 day cruise.

  • Great for international travel!
Style: Black
When you travel outside the US, many rental properties will have a washer but not a dryer. On our recent trip to the UK, we used this travel clothesline multiple times, and it worked great! The end hooks made it super easy to install, and we were surprised by how much weight it held (wet blue jeans). The clips that keep the clothespins from sliding were a brilliant addition to this product. It takes up so little space in my bag, and I'm planning to take it with me every time I travel. ... show more

  • Great but NOT sturdy
Style: Black
I bought this for a several month long trip in southern Mexico. It was great for rolling up in a ball in shoving in a courier of my hiking back pack (since I didn’t have a whole lot of space). However the actual application of it was difficult. Since it’s made of actual finger cord material you have to REALLY stretch it to keep it from caving under the weight of even drie clothes let alone wet ones. Now I’m a plus sized girl so admittedly my clothes might weigh more than some but that still seemed like a bit of a design flaw. However for what it is, it works great! Just now, especially for plus sized or just bigger clothes, it’s probably going to cave a lot. So either spring it reall tight or try to String it up pretty high or your clothes are gunna be dragging on the ground. ... show more

  • Super awesome camping item
I don't care what anybody says - this little clothes line is freaking awesome. You have to understand what it is that you're buying before you buy it so that you are not disappointed. This is not for hanging 7 wet towels or 10 pairs of washed jeans. This clothesline is for relatively light duty drying of relatively light articles. Absolutely perfect for camping. You can attach this line to pretty much anything. When wrapping around pine trees, put something between the line and the tree, like a plastic bread bag or even a rolled up paper towel so that the sap doesn't get on it and the tree bark doesn't damage it. I would like to add that at first I was slightly annoyed by the black clips and clothespins and couldn't figure out why that was a convenient system, but once I got it, it's super convenient to use and beats regular clothespins big time. Yes, the line sags as some noted, but the ease of attaching the line to anything outweighs the sagging and the adjustable clip-pin system solves that problem effortlessly. ... show more
