I got this silverware set to be used when I am traveling and to have one stashed in the car incase I forget to bring some for lunch or if I buy a snack that would benefit from having real silverware. I have used it a few times on the go and a handful of times at home to test it out. I'm pretty happy with this set of utensils. The packed size of this set is pretty reasonable and fits well in a pouch in a cooler or lunchbox. It works perfectly for a picnic or a packed lunch that needs 2 or 3 of the utensils. It's been used many times to make PBJ sandwiches while out and about. The utensils are of decent quality. They are all compact; but this should be expected with a set of utensils like this. The knife is probably the best of the set. It is pretty sharp and is sturdy enough that it can be actually used. The spoon works fine and I have no complaints about it other than it is very small, but this is expected as it is a compact set. The fork is the weakest of all the utensils; the tines are very weak and easily bend, this is not a big deal if you use the knife to cut everything but even for soft food the tines can bend. This is the primary reason for giving this a four star review. I don't think I would really use this for camping. If you're car camping you can just bring a full set of silverware. For backpacking it doesn't make any sense as a spork is pretty much all I ever use and this set is super heavy. Pros: -Compact size -Price Cons: -Build quality isn't great, main concern is with the fork's strength Overall, I think these are a good pair of utensils if you need something to use for a backup to keep in the car for picnics or if you forgot your utensils for lunch. I wouldn't recommend them for camping though; with this in mind I would recommend them if you have a specific use for them. Disclaimer: I did receive this product through vine voice, so I have gotten this product at approximately 20% of the cost of the item due to taxes I will have to pay. I try to be objective in my review, however due to this situation this has a potential to produce a bias.

Very nice set to even keep in the car glove box for take out meals. Each set is easy to clean, has a good handle length for normal adult hands. The knife portion does cut easily without extra force. Overall, a useful set I'm to have acquired for everyday use and travel. Much better than disposable-ware that can often not be rigged enough.

This small set of eating utensils will be useful on trips as we usually try to save money by bringing some food with us. I don't like lugging silverware from home and plastic tableware has a tendency to break. I like that each set is color coordinated. I thought they were a little high priced until I looked at a local store where it was the same price for just one set of silverware in a plastic carrying case. This this was the better deal. I don't care for the two pegs on the spoons that keep them together as a set during storage. The pegs get in the way a bit when using the spoons. Velcro straps to keep each set together might have been a better option. Just having the velvet storage bag would have been fine, especially with its locking drawstring design. Regardless, these will be useful. I just wish they didn't have pegs on the spoon.

I bought these to keep in my lunch box for work and they work wonderful. The coupling feature is nice to keep them from bouncing around in the lunch box or becoming hard to find. They are easy to clean and so much nicer (and environmentally friendly!) than eating with plasticware!

This set is a great way to keep things at a minimalist. I ordered these to use when we go camping. I really like how the cutlery slides/connects together. The set also comes with a small draw string bag to store them in. I did use them one evening at dinner when we grilled steak to ensure they would be sufficient for our upcoming trip. I actually was very impressed at how the knife cut with such ease. Now I will admit the spoon and fork are smaller in width (of the eating portion) than your standard kitchen cutlery. My husband isn’t crazy about them due to the smaller size, but that’s coming from a man that uses a pitchfork and shovel to eat with 😉. One set is pink in color and the other set is black; a his and her set. They are sturdy and should hold up for some time. I am happy with this purchase and would order them again.

It wasn't obvious how small this set is. It would be great for occasional use when trying to pack really small and very light. I ordered the set to use daily while at work, to eliminate using plastic flatware every day. They're too small for daily use, it would take me forever to eat soup or cereal with the spoon, for instance. The fork is tiny too, it's smaller than a toddler fork. I put a Coghlan's set on the far right for comparison, and a standard home set (with a Wendy's spoon lol) in the middle. They're really well made, nice looking, highly polished .. it's good quality stuff. I'll use it for day trips when I just wanna throw a set in my soft cooler. Daily use at work, I'll need something bigger.
