None of the parts indicate what is up or down. Many look like they are symmetrical, you will find out later that that is not the case and have to reassemble this a minimum of 500 times. It took me literally 12 hours straight to put this together. It was only with the power of pure hate and self loathing that pushed me forward to put this together for the 1000th time because some hole was .5 inches lower on one side which made me have to re-invent nuclear energy and solve world hunger to put it back together. The first time a demoed it I had my daughter jump in it and the thing almost shook itself (and my daughter) to an early death and grave (if she's lucky). I tightened every screw with the hand of God himself to get this barely rigid enough to not wobble like grandma after a few drinks during a xmas dinner. The instructions were terrible and give no indication what is what and what direction. There was a good amount of foreign dust from hades covering this thing that I'm sure gave me some kind of lead and or mouth sore disease (yeah, I'll blame that on a bedframe). The bed is hard to get down from because the safety mesh goes all around the whole bed so you have to take a lead of faith over it to get to the ladder. I bought this because it was the smallest size possible to fit in a bed/office room so that's nice. ... show more

i went into this thinking you would need the help of greek gods to help you build this bed but honestly if u have the common sense of a 12 year old and actually take your time w building its mad easy. yeah it takes a long time kinda and it’s kinda tedious but it’s not that difficult. and if you think you’re missing screws then it’s probably because your bags got mislabeled (a and k got mislabeled in mine). the bed/foundation feels sturdy enough and secure. my only complaint is having to screw in all the screws and my desk came w a crack in the corner on the bottom. and a dent in the middle. that’s honestly it though. just take your time and be patient and it won’t be nearly as bad as the reviews are making it out to be! ... show more

The bed is nice and after getting it secured to the wall, it is sturdy without that it is very sturdy. The bed is missing four screws and also came damaged. We had to get washers to help hold the wall mounts in place, with out them the strap just comes off the screws.
