This is an excellent product. The assembly instructions were simple and direct--only 5 steps to follow. The assembly diagrams were clear. One nice thing is that the bolts, washers and screws were all in separate plastic bags so you didn't have to rummage through a big bag of parts to separate out what you were going to need. Also, there were pre-drilled holes in the legs where the leg panels are installed with screws at the ends of the table(step 3); this was very helpful. Be sure not to over-tighten the screws as you're screwing into a composite board of some sort, not actual wood. Another suggestion is that when attaching the "leg braces" on the sides (step 4), be sure that the built-in "nut" (which is the "female" part into which the bolt goes and which is imbedded in the brace itself) faces the INSIDE of the table. That way, as you tighten the bolt you are drawing the "nut" into the brace as opposed to pulling it out which wouldn't be good. My wife and I played a bit on the table and it works great. The puck flows freely and the score board works fine. The table is reasonably heavy and sturdy and should be able to withstand the expected abuse of children. At this point, I am very satisfied with this table. We are having the grandkids (7 of them) over for Christmas and will try to update this review once those rascals put the table to the real test.

Someone had put this together and broke the puck holder and sent it back with the screws in a baggie. One screw was broke off in the table. This table should not have been sent to me like that.

We bought this after researching smaller air hockey tables. The table itself worked fine. The goals were a little small and the puck that came with the table would fly off ALL the time. For a 5 ft table, we were impressed with the air flow. This table might not be big enough for teenagers. We ended up returning it and buying the VEVOR Air Hockey Table, 72" Indoor Hockey Table for Kids and Adults, LED Sports Hockey Game with 2 Pucks, 2 Pushers, and Electronic Score System, Arcade Gaming Set for Game Room Family Home on Amazon. For not much more, it was a little bigger and the quality was just better overall. But if you are looking for smaller children, this would work well. I would advise you to buy a little heavier puck though since the one that came with it flew off often.

Bought as a gift for four active children ages 11, 8, 6 and 4. The table is the perfect size for these ages. The 4 year old can still see the table and is able to play versus the 11 year old, despite their stark difference in size. As a 6'3" adult, the table is rather small. I'd expect the table to be good size for anyone up to 5'6" or so - or about 13-15 years old. Construction is straightforward and the completed table is very sturdy. The air flow is decent and keeps the puck afloat anywhere on the table. The operating fan is small, but runs rather quiet considering the amount of air it pushes. The digital scoreboard is cheap, but does the trick. The only complaint is that there is a small gap (about 1/8 inch) between the guard rail and the table that the puck can sometimes get stuck between if any amount of pressure is placed on the table (increasing the gap to 1/4 inch) or if the puck is hit at high velocities against it and wedged between. This only occurs on the short guard rails on each of the players' sides, and not the long sides of the table. I'm sure I could rig a fix, but I'm just describing the product out of the box.

The game is truly a lot of fun for both kids and adults. We bought it for our grandsons (ages 8 and 6) and they play it multiple times a day. They've gotten us to join in 'tournaments' with them and we enjoy it as much as they do. The five foot length is long enough but not so big as to take over a room. Easy to assemble and simply to operate and use. Only criticism: The game is poorly packaged. For the first one I received, the outer and inner cardboard boxes had been gauged so hard and deep that it cracked the playing surface, and I had to return the game. As usual, Amazon's customer service was the best in the business. They promptly authorized a replacement delivery and made the return as simple and easy for me as possible. The box of the replacement game also arrived with a hole in it, which was about the same size and shape and in the same place as in the first game. I speculate that some machine picks up the boxes someone in the loading/delivery process and the cardboard is not thick or firm enough to keep the game surface safe. So, when you receive a game, check the box carefully and if you see if its been breached unpack carefully and check the game surface first to see if it, too, has been damaged. All in all, the game is worth the price and backed- up by Amazon's customer service it's worth taking the chance the game may arrive damaged.

Easy to Assemble. Plenty of spare buts, bolts washers. Electric Screw Driver is helpful,but not necessary. Works well, motor supplies plenty of air for adults to make those "slap shots." You need fast hands for defensive play as the puck really flies. You could spend more; but why bother? This is a reasonably priced, well working Air Hockey Table that will provide plenty of entertainment for both youngsters and adults.

I was very disappointed about this purchase. I always spend hours upon hours looking at reviews before purchasing anything and thought this would be a great investment for my nine year old's birthday present. It took two weeks to show up, when we are supposed to get 2-day shipping & when we set it up the night before my son's big day we realized it didn't even work. The fan does not blow through the holes, so when you sit the puck on the table it doesn't move. Can't do much with that. Needless to say that was $220 wasted... as well as a very unhappy birthday boy and disappointed mama and although we returned this product about a week ago we have yet to receive a refund. Will likely have to contact Amazon rather than the seller and see if there is anything else they can do to get us our money back so we can re-invest it in a present that works. :(
