I’ve had nothing but success with Hatchbox PLA & PETG filaments as this brand has been my #1 choice for filament material. The silk bronze is no exception. The color is great and the finish is incredible, even printing with a 0.8 nozzle. If I had to define a downside, I’d say it needs to print on a flexible pad and not a smooth glass pad. Even cooled down, the adhesion on smooth glass is so good, it makes removal difficult (something in most cases is desired). I’m guessing it may be composition related as I’ve never experienced this level of adhesion with the non silk colors. My next print will be on a flexible pad and I plan to use a better removal tool (still using the one that came with my Creality CR-10)

Color: Light Blue
The light blue silk PLA delivers exactly what I want from a decorative filament: strong shine, smooth feeding, and consistently accurate dimensions. Prints come out clean with that soft metallic sheen, and adhesion has been reliable on both small and larger parts. There’s zero flex to the finished pieces, which is what I expect from a silk blend, and it still runs through the printer without any fuss or tuning headaches. Layer lines hide well, corners stay sharp, and the spool has been trouble‑free from start to finish. For visual projects or anything meant to stand out, this one earns its five stars.

This silk mint filament is pretty and prints smooth and buttery. I am almost sad to run out of this color, but I love variety more than anything else. had no Issues with clogging, adhesion, or smell. If I and up with another project that can use the color I will buy it again

I only buy and print through Hatchbox, been using them since 2018, 6 years!, and no issues, no problems, no tangling, no breakage, no nothing. All but good prints, colors, and styles. I personally love the silk style since its shiny and smooth. I bought the brown, but to me it is more like Rose Gold, haha. A must buy brand always!!!!

A good filament, and an excellent color. Edit: upon further testing, this filament has awful layer adhesion, can't even get halfway through a benchy without skipping or clogging, and a variety of other issues. I don't know why, and I really like the color. Wish it worked better, but right now I can't get anything out of it. Edit edit: for some reason, without any changes, now it's working decently, very stringy though. I guess it just needed to age or something, I don't know. I don't think i'll buy it again, but I guess it's a nice color and an okay filament, so maybe take your chances if you like the color

Hatchbox has fast became my favorite filament. It just works. The print quality is amazing. No jumping through hoops like some other brands to get even DECENT prints (cough cough YooSu, Atomic, Inland). It's just awesome filament. But pics, they don't do this stuff justice. The two pics I'm sharing, look like different colors completely. They're not. Same color. Same lights. Same phone taking the pics. How great is this stuff? I'd NEVER 3D printed. I decided, hey, that would be cool to try. So I purchased an FLSun Super Racer and some filament, this being one of the colors. That Raiders fertility idol pictured? Yeah, that was my first night as a printer owner. I printed a Benchy. A calibration cube. Then the idol. Sadly, I swapped filaments to a different brand and then had 3 days of frustrations. I then used a different color of Hatchbox and back to great prints. A different brand again and back to failed prints. A THIRD Hatchbox color and back to easy printing. It's not the ONLY brand I use, but it easily my favorite and the one I'd recommend first without a second thought. And again, this color specifically, the silk gold, in person it's just striking.

Never had an issue with Hatchbox, they're my go-to Amazon filament brand. This pink color is really nice, it's more pastel than hot pink. In direct light it's very, very light pink, and then as it loses he sheen it kind of reminds me of a slightly desaturated salmon color I'd strongly recommend trying out a Hilbert Curve bottom infill pattern on a Satin/textured sheet with these silk colors, you get a really beautiful holographic pattern.
